Notes on accommodation
No Smoking accommodation. Access to the apartment is very secure and controlled solely by key or by video entry phone for each apartment.
Accessibility
There are a few steps from pavement to lobby but the remainder is serviced by a lift.
Outside
The pool area is only accessible to persons staying in the apartments. The shared pool benefits from a fantastic elevated position overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. There is a small childrens pool which is close to the larger adults pool that has a diving board.
Coast/Beach
San Martinho Bay is 100 metres walk.
Nazare, a large resort north of Sao Martinho is a 15 minute drive.
Foz Do Arelho renowned for surfing is a 15 minute drive also.
Golf
The highly acclaimed Praia D'el Rey golf course is less than 25 minutes away and has just been voted "European golf resort of the year 2007" at the "IAGTO Awards".
Others include Golden Eagle and Como Real.
Travel
Lisbon Airport is served by Easy Jet, Continental, Monarch, BMI, Tap Air Portugal, BA, Aer Lingus, Lufthansa and is 1 hours drive to the apartment.
Porto Airport is also served by Ryanair & Tap Air Portugal.
Car hire is not essential but highly recommended.
Distances
Caldas da Rainha offers daily markets, several large supermarkets and is a vibrant town- 15 mins drive, Foz do Arelho has numerous bars, restaurants and the beach - 12 mins drive. Obidos is a picturesque walled medieval town - 20 mins drive. Nazare is a bustling seaside town with a large sandy beach - 12 mins drive.

We have a notice board in the kitchen which have some business cards of bars, restaurants, hair salons and taxi's which we have used and would recommend.
