Villa Monchique is located within a small group of 12 privately owned villas, all walled and screened for privacy. To the rear of the property are views of the Monchique mountains. The beautiful sandy beaches of Praia Da Rocha, Praia Da Vau and Alvor are approximately 10/20 minutes by car. The port and town of Portimao is approximately 11km and offers excellent local seafood, marina, shopping, restaurants, banks, supermarkets and traditional open markets. Within the grounds of the villa are a large tiled swimming pool, brick built summer house and barbecue, poolside shower, sun loungers and dining area. The mature gardens are lawned with several flowerbeds and a small orchard.

| Other: | Dining area conveniently situated between lounge and kitchen. The first floor bedroom 3 opens out onto a balcony with views of the Monchique mountains. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are included (except beach towels). Towels and linen changed weekly. The villa is cleaned midweek and at change over day (except on Bank Holidays). |
Outside
The large, tiled private swimming pool (approximately 10 metres x 5 metres) is surrounded with paving and part wall/wrought iron fence with gates. There is also a poolside shower and sun loungers. A brick built summer house with outdoor table and chairs offers a sheltered al fresco dining area. A brick built barbecue is also conveniently situated near the pool.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful sandy beaches of Praia Da Roche, Praia Da Vau and Alvor can be reached within approximately 10 to 20 minutes by car. You will find small restaurants and bars conveniently situated along these beaches.
Golf
The famous Penina golf course (now the Meridian Penina Hotel & Golf Course) is approximately 10 minutes drive from the villa. It has three golf courses designed by Sir Henry Cotton. The 360 acre estate includes six tennis courts. There are also many other fine golf courses in the area.
Travel
Faro airport is the nearest international airport and is approximately 40 mins drive using the new motorway IC4 A22. Car hire is essential.
Further details
The new award winning motor racing circuit 'Autodromo do Algarve' is within easy driving distance and hosts the full range of Grand Prix motor events for both bikes and cars.
