Guia is an attractive tiny, but popular Algarve village, 5km from magnificent beaches and within range of many other major attractions including the internationally famous Zoomarine and is central to the many golf courses the Algarve has to offer. Jardim Pariso is a small modern condominium with beautiful gardens to front and rear, situated on the southern edge of the village its elevated location giving panoramic views over Guia and the surrounding countryside. Within easy walking distance are shops, banks, restaurants and all other village amenities. The apartment is situated on the ground floor having a large private fully equipped terrace with direct access to the South facing garden and communal pool. Fully air conditioned, consists of a large beautifully furnished and equipped lounge and dining area. A modern fully fitted Kitchen with all appliances. Two bedrooms, one en-suite icluding Jacuzzi bath. A separate shower room complete with toilet, bidet and washbasin.

Changeover day
Changeover days can be flexible although in high season it may be necessary to vacate the accommodation at 10am. The owners require flight details for both arrival and departure prior to booking. We shall be as accommodating as possible!

Both are fully tiled and equipped to a high standard with extractor fans and power points.
Kitchen: Spacious fitted kitchen with oven, hob and extractor fan, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, juicer, blender, washing machine, iron, ironing board and all the pots, pans, utensils, glasses, cutlery and tableware that you will need.
Living Rooms: Large spacious and very comfortable lounge and dining area with air conditioning/heating. Beautiful leather 3 and 2 seater Sofas and pouffe with stylish dining table/chairs. Wide screen TV with sound surround, Sky TV, DVD player, radio/CD player.

linen/maid service:
Linen and towels are provided, changed weekly, maid service once a week for additional weeks lets. Towels are for use only after washing or showering. Please bring your own beach towels for all outside use including sunbathing on the terrace.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is ideal for families with small children being on the ground floor with direct access to the pool. A travel cot and additional single sized chair bed can be provided on request at a small additional cost. Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment an ash tray is provided for use on the terrace. A meet and greet service is provided and a welcome pack of tea, coffee, bread, milk etc available at an additional cost.

Accessibility
There is wheelchair access gate into the grounds leading to the front door of the condominium with one small step into the building. The apartment is on the ground floor with easy access into the garden and pool area for wheelchair users and people with mobility problems.

Outside
The large terrace is fully furnished with an outside table and chairs, a sun parasol and sun loungers. Landscaped private gardens surrounding the pool can be used for sunbathing. There is a spacious communal barbeque area with double sink and lighting but guests are requested to clean this area after use. There are outside showers available next to the pool, ideal for when returning from the beach.

Coast/Beach
The best beaches that the Algarve has to offer are within 10 mins drive down minor roads. As well as the lengthy Praia de Gale (stretching westwards towards Armacao de Pera) with its sports facilities snack bars and restaurants there are many secluded sandy coves with sculptured sandstone cliffs and azure sea, which have Lifeguard cover during the season. For those who like more hustle and bustle Albufeira is less than 15 mins away with its famous marina, historic old town and even more beaches!

Golf
Over 30 superb golf courses, including championship courses, lie within easy driving distance of Guia. The nearby N125 and A22 motorway ensure that they can be reached quickly and easily. The five Golf courses in the Costa del la Luz area (Spain) are just a 40 minute drive from Guia, direct on the A22 motorway. The apartment is ideal for small golfing parties, who enjoy the superb and varied restaurants in the vllage of Guia. Keen golfers come back to the Algarve time after time to enjoy some of the best courses in the world.

Travel
To fully enjoy you holiday in Guia car hire is recommended. Rates on the Algarve are very competitive and there are numerous reputable car hire companies with facilities at Faro airport – (30 minutes away). Alternatively, locally arranged private transfers at reasonable rates contact owner for details. Guia is easy to find and lies just south of the A22 motorway. The magnificent beaches are less than 10 mins drive away and facilities like Zoomarine and Algarve Shopping are in Guia.

Distances
Given the proximity of the motorway most of the western and Central Algarve is less than an hour away. Nearby you will find the superb coastal facilities and beaches. Albufeira is just down the road as is the nearest of the many golf courses. Historical Silves, the hills of Monchique and places of interest like Faro and Vilamoura are within easy reach. Algarve Shopping, the Zoomarine Park and well known water parks are nearby. There is something for every one of all ages!

Further details
Famous for its range of authentic restaurants, all the facilities in the village of Guia are within easy walking distance. With its 27 restaurants (at the last count!) and various bars Guia is a great place in which to wine and dine. Nearby you will find the Algarve villa of Sir Cliff Richard and his famous vineyard. In the village is a small supermarket, newsagents (with UK press) a butchers, bakers, wine shop, post office, chemists, hairdressers, internet café, DVD Video hire and snack bars. There is a small local market, banks with cash machines and a medical centre within 50 yards. Although the village is typical Portuguese all are made welcome by truly friendly and helpful locals. All the facilities are nearby when needed and in the meantime you can simply relax and soak up the sun away from the hustle and bustle of tourist hotspots.

Guia is thought to have existed since Roman times. Its Arab name was Alfontes. However, it is really the later Christian links are the strongest. The site of the Chapel of Nossa Srª da Guia is a place where the Virgin Mary is thought, by local custom to have appeared. This was great draw for Pilgrims and gave rise to the Guia Fair held annually from 7th to 9th October.
The 17th century village church is an interesting building with a simple carved alter, a selection of 17th and 18th century statues and some famous azulejo tile pictures. There are numerous other fine buildings, places of interest and historical sites within easy reach.

Beyond the village are tiny hamlets nestling in green countryside, vineyards and citrus groves. The coast lies to the south and inland there is an interesting hinterland with more villages and hamlets to explore. Well know centres like Lagos, Portimao, Silves (with its Moorish Castle), Albufeira, Faro and Vilamoura can all be reached easily. In the distance you can see the mountains of Monchique with its famous spa. In fact the best that the Algarve has to offer is all less than an hour aw
