Changeover day
On changeover days we would appreciate our guests leaving the villa by 10.00am and guests arriving will be able to gain access at 4pm,although welcome to drop bags off before.

Towels and linen changed weekly (not including beach towels as not provided). Casa is cleaned weekly. Swimming pool cleaned and monitored weekly, and twice a week during summer months. |
Notes on accommodation
The villa is double glazed and centrally heated for the winter months with radiators in every room. All windows have shutters which are useful for keeping out the sun as well as for further security. Travel cot and high chair available upon request. Welcome pack available at an extra charge. Smoking is not permitted on the property.On changeover days guests should vacate the villa by 10.00am and guests arriving will be able to enter at 4pm, but are welcome to drop bags off before.
Accessibility
The property is all on one level (bungalow style) so is therefore ideal for all ages.
Outside
As well as an ample poolside patio area for sunbathing or dining, to the rear of the villa there is a large terrace for sunbathing, alfresco breakfasting or just taking in the breathtaking views overlooking the lake, valley and mountains of Monchique. Provided are a large selection of outdoor tables, chairs, loungers and parasols.
Coast/Beach
The picturesque, uncrowded beaches of Monte Clerigo and Arrifanna are both barely a 10 minute drive away and both boast a selection of bars and restaurants. Lifeguards are present full time during the summer season.
Golf
There are golf courses within a 40 minute drive away.
Travel
Car hire/use is necessary here. Faro airport is 1 hour and 20 minutes away. We can recommend a car hire company and will provide comprehensive directions for your journey to the airport.
Distances
The villa is within a few minutes distance of the local mini-supermarket and cafe and bar. 10 minutes walk to the local tennis courts. 5 minutes drive to the nearest beach (Monte Clerigo). 10 minutes drive to local town Aljezur. 25 minutes drive to Lagos. 50 minutes drive to a water park.
Further details
The historic town of Aljezur has a range of shops, restaurants, banks, post office, mini-supermarkets, museums and also a castle ruin to visit. There is also a daily market where the freshest fruit and vegetables and locally caught fresh fish can be bought. For those who enjoy taking in the local culture and simplicity of life that exists in the only recently discovered Western Algarve, a visit to Aljezur and also Lagos is a must. Lagos is a larger yet still historic town that boasts a marina where boat trips can be taken from, beaches and many more places of interest.
