Casa Bastiel is a newly built villa situated on the slopes of the Sierra de Montejunto hills. The property overlooks the village of Vila Verde dos Francos with superb views of the area. The villa is set on a hill with woodlands and vines surrounding in a quiet lane. Torres Vedras is the nearest town with all shopping facilities.

Changeover day
Changeover day is normally Friday but can be negotiated. The house will be available from 3pm on day of arrival and is to be vacated by 10.30am on day of departure.

Coast/Beach
The Silver Coast with its beautiful uncrowded beaches, is an easy 40 minute drive away. There are many unspoilt seaside towns along the coast with long sandy beaches. There is good surfing in the Atlantic rollers.

Travel
There property is near to Lisbon Airport at approximately 45 minutes drive, mainly on motorway. Lisbon Airport is served by a selection of budget and scheduled airlines. Use of a car is essential.
Distances
Torres Vedras is the nearest big town about 20 kilometers distant and has a modern shopping centre for all your needs. The medieval walled town of Obidos is well worth a visit with its castle on the hill and the lagoon below. Also Caldas da Rainha is a spa and shopping town about 20 kilometers distant. At Peniche you will find surfing, sailing and diving.

In the villa you will find a folder containing comprehensive information about the area, its restaurants, shops, banks and places of interest. There are many attractions and much to see and do in this area of Portugal including hill walking, sightseeing and birdwatching.
Booking notes

A deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking with the balance paid 6 weeks before arrival with a refundable security deposit of £250. Full directions of how to find the property will be given when the balance is paid. For those who prefer an escorted transfer to the villa this can be arranged in advance for an extra charge of 45 Euros.
