Very close by there is the village of Manta Rota with plenty of restaurants and bars and in Vila Nova de Cacela you can experience the very typical way of life of the residents. Nearby there is the most incredible natural reserve - Ria Formosa. You can also easily visit the Tavira town for a cultural trip or go to the touristic beach of Monte Gordo. In 10 minutes by car you can visit Vila Real de Santo António or Ayamonte, in Spain, by crossing the Gaudiana river.

It is not suitable for wheelchair users as the access is by stairs and there is no room on the ground floor.
