It is on the ground floor and has a south-west facing patio which looks out onto a grassed area accessed through sliding doors from both the main bedroom and the lounge. The gated complex incorporates a communal swimming pool, landscaped gardens and a BBQ area. The many local beaches are some of the best in the Algarve (Salgados, Galé, Sao Rafael and Evaristo). Vale de Parra and Guia have a good choice of restaurants which are family-oriented. Salgados Golf course is an easy walk from the apartment. You are in the heart of the Algarve and everything it has to offer is within easy reach.

Outside
The apartment looks out onto landscaped gardens with olive trees from both the lounge and master bedroom patio doors. The complex is well placed for all the local shops, restaurants, bars etc. and an ATM cash machine. There is a communal BBQ area with washing up facilities. Outdoor furniture is available.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach to the Encosta resort is at Galé - a service bus ride or 25 mins walk away. You also have the beaches of São Rafael, Salgados and Evaristo close at hand.
Golf
Salgados golf course and complex is no more than 5 mins away, you are also within easy reach of several other golf courses including Vale de Lobo, Vilamoura and Quinta do Lago.
Travel
Faro Airport is 46km from the Encosta São José complex in the Vale de Parra Region of Albufeira and takes 30 mins by car on the motorway. Car hire is recommended but not essential as there is ample taxi availability and the bus stop is near to the complex taking you the centre of the old town of Albufeira. There is also a bus service between Albufeira and Faro, with a connection to the airport.

Airport pick-ups and drop-offs can be arranged at cost, upon request. Various welcome packs can also be arranged and will be placed in the apartment for your arrival. A meet and greet facility is in place and they will give you the keys to the apartment and show you around. They also provide a 24-hour emergency service. Should you have a larger party of family or friends it is possible for us to arrange rental of other apartments for you within the complex. A cot and highchair can be arranged in the apartment at an extra cost. There is ample parking on the complex. A comprehensive information fact file has been prepared of local amenities, restaurants, trips and useful telephone numbers and this will be made available to all guests. Also a larger maisonette (sleeps up to 6), adjacent to the Ria Formosa beach near Tavira, is available for rental - ideal for those wanting a two-centre holiday. 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. Balance required 10 weeks prior to arrival plus breakage deposit of £200 refundable within 21 days of departure.
