This charming south facing granite built guest accommodation adjoins the owners main house, yet is fully self contained and ideal for a couple. Guests have sole use of the 10 x 4.5m swimming pool and well equipped barbecue, and private parking. Whilst the property enjoys a peaceful rural setting, Vila Camelia is situated in the centre of Covas making all amenities close at hand and all within walking distance, where you will find 3 restaurants all with outside eating areas, two well stocked mini mercados, post office, cash point, and a petrol station. The Costa Verde has unspoilt scenic areas with its rivers and mountains making it geographically beautiful. With Vila Camelia being only 25 min away from Spain, it is a two country holiday in one. We are situated in the triangle between Vila Nova De Cerveira, Viana Do Castelo and the old roman town of Ponte De Lima, the most renowned towns in the enchanting corner of the Minho region.

Notes on prices
The price for the property is £300 sterling per week all year round.
Changeover day
In order to clean the accommodation, guests are requested not to arrive before 2pm and vacate by 10am.

Towels included and changed weekly this does not include beach towels or pool towels which are not supplied. Bedlinen provided and changed once per week. |
Notes on accommodation
Smoking is only permitted in outside areas. Unfortunately we cannot accept pets as we have a small timid dog. The owners are on hand to assist in any way to make your holiday special but at the same time give you privacy and are unobtrusive.

Outside
Patio and area around the 10m x 4.5m swimming pool and covered well equipped barbecue area finished of with tiles and granite. Large granite table and seats, smaller table and chairs, sun loungers, umbrellas.
Coast/Beach
Moledo is 25km away from Covas it has the best beaches, where there is windsurfing schools lifegaurds and cafes. The Minho River estuary beaches are another relaxing option, also 25km away is Camhinia with its pristine white sandy beaches.
Golf
The nearest golf course 18 hole is situated in Ponte De Lima approximately 30 mins drive away.
Travel
A hire car is essential to fully enjoy this diverse region, Porto airport is 1.5 hours from Covas.

Back to Covas, don't forget the 3 family owned restaurants which serve good quality food at a very reasonable price they all have outside eating areas. The village has 2 mini super merdados where you can buy all most everything you will need from spaghetti to socks and shoes, post office and cashpoint, also a petrol station. The Serra D`Arga mountains are unspoiled and beautiful this is fantastic place to walk you can make it as hard or easy as you want, remember to take your camera to photograph the`Garranos' wild horses that can be found wondering freely in the mountains.
Booking notes
Booking request can be made by email or phone, we accept UK pounds. We will supply banking details at the time of booking. We require £100 sterling, non-refundable deposit upon booking and the balance 1 month before arrival.
We advise our guests to take out appropriate travel, sickness ,loss, injury and cancellation insurance.
