This modern stylish villa is set on the outskirts of a small hamlet in the foothills of the stunning Peneda Geres National Park. Nearby you can walk in winding undulating tracks amongst beautiful lost, near deserted (apart from the odd farmer with his goats) ancient hillside villages. You can see years of ox cart wheel tracks cut deep into the small granite roads, almost lost in time. Also see traditional houses built into giant rocks, like nothing you will have ever seen. Roman roads and bridges still in use today, over 2 thousand year old architecture, in this stunning undiscovered area of Portugal. The people are still working the land as their forefathers did since ancient times. Large, bright airy rooms with quality finish, central heating, log fire, large indoor BBQ, sun lounger with veranda looking down on the fertile valley. There are 5 bedrooms (1 en suite), 3 bathrooms, shower room, 2 kitchens, large sitting/dining room, large playroom and laundry. Rose garden.

These areas harbour a wealth of wildlife, wild horses, birds and mammals. There are tracks for every level of walker, cyclist and mountain biker. If you want to take it easy along some quiet country roads stopping off for some local refreshment along the way. Or disappear into the great unknown along some ancient mountain track never knowing what you will meet or see along the way. There is sure to be something to make the trip unforgettable! There is also the Eco-pista in Moncao (20km) for those wanting something a little less challenging. This is a tarred ex-rail line between Moncao and Valenca just for walking and cycling which runs along the river Minho with lots of picnic and water stops along the way.
