This superb resort with fantastic facilities along with a wonderful climate make it a great choice of holiday for families, couples or golf parties. Also the perfect destination for those who just want to relax and soak up the sun. Visitors to our apartment also benefit from complimentary membership of 5* Barringtons Sport Club with free use of indoor and outdoor pools, very well equipped gymnasium, squash courts, sauna and steam room (only a few minutes walk from the apartment). The beach and resort centre (Praca) with its multitude of high quality restaurants is a 5 min drive or pleasant 15 min stroll away. A further choice of high class but friendly, family run restaurants are a few minutes drive away just outside the resort. The resort also benefits from the Royal Spa, which offers a fantastic range of treatments in a state of the art spa. The apartment has all the facilities you would expect at home including 44'' TV and Sky plus.

Changeover day
Changeover day Saturday in high season (July/ August), remaining time of the year is flexible. Apartment will be available from 14:00 on the day of arrival and until 10:00 on the departure day. This can be flexible depending on existing bookings.

Outside
Both terraces have patio furniture. One has eating area and BBQ. Sun awning for those who prefer more shade. Shared pool at Barringtons only 3 mins walk away with adult and children's pool.
Coast/Beach
The beach is either a 5 minute drive or 15 minute pleasant stroll along manicured paths and golf course. Miles of wide sandy beaches provide space for finding a quiet spot or taking advantage of the high class bars and restaurants overlooking the beach at the Praca. Sun loungers and umbrellas available for hire, although the apartment has several sun umbrellas for guest's use. Parking is free at the beach.
Golf
The resort benefits from 2 championship golf courses, the Ocean and the Royal. There is also a 29 bay driving range, an 18 hole putting green and you can also arrange professional golf tuition. Excellent golf courses can also be found nearby at Quinta do Lago, Vila Sol and Vilamoura. Golf discounts at 18 courses included with Barringtons membership.
Travel
Faro Airport is just 20 minutes drive from Vale do Lobo. Taxi transfers can be arranged although you can easily hire a car from either the airport (directions will be given) or from Vale do Lobo reception. There are many budget airlines with routes to Faro.
Distances
A further choice of high class but friendly, family run restaurants are a few minutes drive away just outside the resort. Other amenities include a medical centre, supermarket, cashpoints, children's Penguin club, local horse riding, hairdressers, newsagent and a variety of other shops, with more extensive shopping available a few minutes drive away in Almancil or exclusive shopping in Quinta do Lago, a few minutes drive away. Vilamoura and marina is approx 15 min drive away as is an aqua park.
Further details
The 14 court tennis academy is only a short walk from the apartment and offers lessons, tournaments and social activities to all ages and levels of player. Winner of 'Home Overseas Awards' for 2004, 2005, 2006, Vale do Lobo's superb facilities along with a wonderful climate make it a superb choice of holiday for families, couples or golf parties.
Booking notes
To reserve the apartment, 50% of the total charge as deposit (non refundable) at the time of booking is required, with the remaining 50% to be paid 4 weeks prior to your arrival date. Once deposit is received, the owner will write to you to confirm your booking. Once the outstanding balance has been paid, the owner will contact you with details about apartment, directions, keys etc. Please state whether air-conditioning/heating is required and include charge.
