View of Sierra d'Arga
|
|
Built to a high standard in traditional materials of granite and schist. Set on an old olive grove amongst hills of pine and eucalyptus, in a valley interlaced with streams from the Serra d'Arga above. This luxurious villa offers a private pool and gardens for alfresco dining. Ideal for small families and couples. It is an idyllically tranquil base from which to discover the sights and sounds of the ‘real’ Portugal. Local amenities are close by, as are river beaches, a nature reserve ideal for walkers and beautiful historic Ponte de Lima with its Roman bridge, gardens and shops. It also has a challenging golf course, canoeing on the Lima river and a fabulous outdoor swimming pool. The long sandy coastal beaches are only 30 minutes drive away and are great for surfing. An ideal place from which to visit Northern Spain or the National Park of Panedes-Geres or historic Braga, Guimaraes and Porto. Also don't forget your euro goes further in Portugal than any other country in the eurozone.
