Changeover day
Saturday is our preferred changeover day unless by specific arrangement. Arrival after 4pm and departure before 10am. Other arrival and departure times are possible subject to confirmation please enquire.

The house is well positioned to catch the sun all day, making any time of your day special, sunset cocktails can be enjoyed till late. Outside lighting and pool lights create the ideal atmosphere for late evening dining.
Coast/Beach
The villa is situated on the side of a hill and is only 1 minute walk from the lagoon and less than a mile from the centre of Foz Do Arelho, a small beach resort which is located at the mouth of the Obidos Lagoon and adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean. The calm waters of the Lagoon are perfect for sailing, windsurfing and swimming whilst the livelier Atlantic Ocean provides a surfers paradise and ocean fishing.
Golf
The number 1 golf course in Portugal, Praia d’el Rey, is a 30 minute drive on the opposite side of the lagoon.
Travel
Lisbon international airport is 45 minutes away, car hire is recommended.
Distances
5 minutes from local shops and restaurants. Minutes drive to the main town Caldas da Rainha. 10 mins driving time to the Medieval walled town of Obidos. 5 mins driving time to the main motorway A 8 (Lisbon – Porto). 45 mins driving time to the intern. airport of Lisbon.

30% reservation deposit and balance due a minimum of 8 weeks prior to arrival. Please note a security deposit of £200 will be required with balance, this will be returned within 1 week of departure date. Reduced Rates for stays of 3 weeks and longer. 2009 Bookings now being taken. Payment can by made by cheque or bank transfer we also except credit cards (subject to small surcharge). This accommodation is a no smoking villa. No pets allowed.

Keith & Julie, a big thank you, we had a fantastic weekend break at your villa with some friends in January. The weather was beautiful and we ate breakfast outside. The villa is breathtaking with so many things to do. From our bedroom we could see the local fishermen in the Lagoon which really was quite unique. A perfect place to be to get away from it all in an unspoilt part of Portugal. The attention to detail was first class - beautifully furnished and every eventuality accommodated for. 2 families could occupy this villa and still find a space to have a bit of time out, one reason why we are taking the whole family back there in August.
