Algarve Quinta is a secluded 7 acre private estate near to the village of Santa Barbara and 20 minutes drive from world-class beaches and golf courses. The villa is beautifully furnished and well appointed. Casa Murta is perfect for a family holiday. It has 3 large bedrooms, one with extra large king size bed, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. Lovely private swimming pool, lawned gardens and beautiful views of the coast and the countryside around.

Changeover day
Changeover days are flexible, but on Saturdays during the high season.
Access to the villa is after 3pm and on the day of departure we ask that the villa be vacated by 9.30am. Luggage can be kept in safe-keeping should you have an early or late flight.

| Kitchen: | The villa has a fully equiped kitchen with American style fridge freezer, gas cooker, microwave and laundry facilities. A Portuguese cook can be arranged for in-house cooking and babysitting service can be provided at an extra charge. |
| Utility Room: | Washing Machine available. If required our maid would be available for personal ironing for a small extra charge. |
| Living Rooms: | The villa has a large, elegantly furnished drawing room with an open fireplace and French windows onto the covered, furnished terrace which has beautiful panoramic coastal views. |
| Other: | The villa has satellite TV systems, DVD players and internet/wifi access. There is a large library with a good selection of books and DVDs are available on request from the house manager. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
There is a full time maid service. This includes washing-up and laundry. Towels are changed once per week. The pool is serviced each morning. Swimming pool towels are also provided. |

Notes on accommodation
Many recreational activities are provided on the property, table tennis, boules, croquet, tennis, space to roam on the 7 acre grounds and extensive orange and soft fruit orchards. Fresh laid eggs and oranges are complementary.
Accessibility
The villa is wheelchair accessible. All bathrooms have flexible shower cords. The area around the villa is flat.
Large french doors lead from bedrooms to terraces and the landscaped serentity of the outdoors.
Outside
The villa is very spacious, it has shaded outside dining terraces with luxurious furnishings and built in barbeque with food preparation areas.
The swimming pool is 12m x 5m and has a special shallow area for small children.
The terraces and lawned gardens are impeccably maintained and include several peaceful seating areas shaded by ancient olive trees.
Coast/Beach
Beautiful, unspoilt, sandy beaches are 20 minutes drive away.
The West coast with its surfing beaches is an hour's drive.
Golf
There is a large choice of golf courses 20 minutes drive at Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo. In addition more courses are available 50km over the border with Spain.
Travel
Faro international airport is a 15 minute drive with Lisbon and Seville airports 2.5 hours away. Car hire is recommended.
Distances
The village of Santa Barbara is a few minutes drive or 20 minute walk away. There is a choice of international and local restaurants and many cafe/bars together with post office, bank, small supermarket, pharmacy and medical centre. There is also an butcher located in the supermarket.
Further details
The nearest shops are 10 minutes walk by road or along a track, both are bordered with wild lavender, rosemary, thyme, fennel and borage.
