Jardins do Golfe situated in attractive well maintained gardens on the edge of the Vale do Lobo estate. A perfect location for golf tennis and beach. Within a region steeped in tradition and history only 20 minutes from Faro airport. Part of a small exclusive condo, the apartment boasts beautiful views of the golf course, surrounding area and the sea beyond. It's just 10 minutes from the immaculate blue flag beach, flanked by yellow and red sand stoned cliffs. Entertainment and excitement are never too far away with 2 tennis courts and swimming pool, this area is decked and there is a waterfall and steps leading to the children’s pool. Sun loungers are available free of charge. Poolside bar (high season) serving usual drinks and snacks. Moving away from the pool there is plenty of space to enjoy the gardens with shaded areas. There are plans to open a new restaurant (Easter 08) which will be serving traditional Portuguese style tapas amongst other things.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. July and August rental prices include Welcome pack, daily maid service (except Sat and Sun) voucher for 50 euros towards service wash, cleaning on departure and all linen, towels and beach towels. Contact us for prices on other periods of stay, i.e. extra nights or longer lets in Winter.
Changeover day
Flexible, but we do ask you to vacate the property by 10.30am on departure day. On arrival the apartment should be ready by 2.30pm.

| Kitchen: | Black granite worktops fridge/freezer ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, electric juicer, toaster, kettle. All cutlery, crockery and utensils you will ever need from picnicking to dinner parties, inc ice-lolly moulds for the little ones! |
| Utility Room: | Utility cupboard - iron and board, but you won't need that with your ‘service wash’ July/ugust. 4 tennis rackets and balls, buckets, spades etc, 2 beach umbrellas, cooler bag and ice blocks for those picnics on the beach. |
| Living Rooms: | Dining table and 6 chairs, a 3 seater and 2 seater leather sofa, large flat screen TV with Sky, DVD player, a selection of DVDs, CDs, books and games for those lazy nights in with a bottle of wine. Air-conditioned. |

Notes on accommodation
Having had this apartment for the past 7 years, we have had many enjoyable family holidays here, both Summer and Winter and, its our opinion that we have pretty much everything here that you would need to help make your holiday as relaxing and enjoyable as possible, from the smallest thing like the lolly moulds to the fluffy white toweling dressing gowns! In July and August we offer our guests a voucher to the value of 50 euros towards a service wash ( non-redeemable). There will be a price list in the apartment, pop your laundry into the bag and take it to reception, it should be ready for you within 24 hrs.
Accessibility
The condominium is gated and requires a key card to enter, therefore safe and secure. The apartment is situated on the second floor, accessed by stairs, therefore we are unable to accommodate wheelchair users.
Outside
Balcony - accessed via patio doors from living room and bedroom, one of only a few with sea views. Table, chairs and parasole, gas BBQ, two wooden steamer chairs; a great place for that private bit of sunbathing or at night to just lie back and look up at a clear sky and count the stars or just sit and watch the sun go down. There is also the advantage of outside lighting.
Coast/Beach
Vale do Lobo beach is a 10 minute walk from the apartment, 3 minutes by car. A stunning blue flag beach with life guards and an abundance of sunbeds for hire. Just walk along the coastline to find your perfect spot, restaurant or water sport.
Golf
There are courses too numerous to mention, most of them have the approval of our son, a golf professional working in Dubai! Arrangements can be made at Jardins de Golf reception.
Special interest holidays
As tennis fans, the tennis academy at Vale Do Lobo is for us. You can arrange for coaching or just book a court where legendary sportsmen such as Borg and MacEnroe have played. There is also a restaurant and pool. Of special interest for tennis fans, there is the Veterans Tournament, usually at the beginning of August. We have been several times and have seen some great tennis played by Le Conte, Cash, Bates to name but a few. Frequented by celebrities, on our last visit my husband found himself rubbing shoulders with Ronan Keating at the bar (I know I should have gone to get the drinks!). Tickets can be purchased in advance at reduced rates. We can give you this information when making your booking.
Travel
The airport in Faro is 20 minutes by car. But, why not fly into Lisbon and drive down through the beautiful Alentajo and be in the Algarve within 2½ hours.
Distances
Faro 15 mins drive with large shopping mall and cinema complex. Almancil 5 mins drive where supermarket Apalonia is great to stock up for a weekly shop. Quinta shopping for bank, cafes and designer shops. Villamoura 20 mins drive, marina, shops and restaurant, tourist office, book day trip to Seville or 4x4 safari/boat trips. Spanish border 45 mins. Pop over for a paella lunch, don't forget the time change! Loule 15 mins by car, excellent local market fresh fish & meat for BBQ worth a visit!
Further details
On the approach to the beach you will find the Penguins children’s club, the international restaurants, coffee shops etc.
There is the Rotunda swimming pool with views across the sea, charge payable. By night the Praca comes to life even more with free live entertainment peak season.
From the beach you can walk along the coast, visit Maria's for a superb BBQ lunch, walk a little further to find Izzy's, Julia's and all the water sports. Then on a little further to GiGi's an amazing restaurant, frequented by the rich and famous, but you will need to book.
There is also the ‘Vale de Formosa’ dunes to watch and enjoy the wildlife.
Booking notes
A deposit of 50% of the full price is required at time of booking. The remaining balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. A security bond of £200 will be payable before arrival and will be refunded in full within 10 days of return providing all keys and cards have been returned to reception and the apartment is left in good order. Bookings made within 8 weeks of departure are payable in full at time of booking.
