The Quinta da Saudade is a small British-run estate of privately owned villas set in approx 24 acres about 5 miles west of Albufeira. Situated in the peaceful country setting of an old hillside farm estate and set amid orange, almond and olive trees with spectacular views of the ocean.

Changeover day
Bookings are on a weekly basis from Thursday to Thursday, however if your holiday must start on a specific day, please let us know - we are flexible.

The villa rental includes maid service (except Sunday's). Bedding and towels are provided in the villa but not for beach and/or pool areas. |
Notes on accommodation
The villa rental includes maid service (except Sundays), hot water and cooking gas. Electricity and logs are also inclusive, except from November thru March.
A complimentary starter pack will be put in the villa consisting of eggs, milk, butter, sugar, coffee, tea, bread, drinking water and white wine.
The rent also includes the use of all the amenities at the Quinta, except for a charge for the tennis court.

The side terrace has a built-in BBQ and offers tables, chairs, sun loungers and umberellas along with a large roof terrace for sunbathing.
There are 2 communal swimming pools, children’s play area, tennis court, riding, restaurant and bar, mini-golf, table tennis and patanque.
Coast/Beach
Quinta da Saudade is approx 3.5 miles west of Albufeira close to beaches, bird sanctuary and a golf course. Beaches are golden sands and the Atlantic waves lend themselves to wind surfing, jet skiing, paragliding but also safe bathing.
Golf
"Salgodos" - the local golf course is only a mile away - there are also several courses within a 10 mile radius
Travel
The nearest airport is Faro and is approx a 45 min drive. A car is essential.
Distances
Albufeira is 3.5 miles away and offers many activities.
Further details
Local restaurants and beach restaurants offer excellent sea food and local dishes. Swim with the dolphins at Zoo marine, take a boat trip from the marina to see the coastline and explore the caves. A short drive away are the Monchique mountains for hiking. Algarve shopping is approx 3km with grocery stores, cinemas, bowling and clothes stores.
The old town of Albufeira with its paved streets, museum, boutiques and street musicians offer the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation.
