The villa is situated on a beautifully maintained, peaceful white-washed walled holiday complex which has facilities to satisfy adults and children of all ages. All maintained to a very high standard you can enjoy 5 different swimming pools, excellent tennis facilities including professional coaching, regular tennis tournaments, a full equipped gym and a well groomed 9 hole golf course. On site you also have snack bars and 2 restaurants as well as a beauty salon and supermarket. All on one level the villa is great for families with small children or for those requiring easy movement and access. All the bedrooms are very spacious, the kitchen is equipped to a high standard and you have everything you need for a relaxing holiday. You can walk to the local "golden sand" beach in 15 minutes and by car can easily reach a second in 10 minutes. For evening dining you can stay on the complex or visit Ohlas de Agua for good fish or for a more lively scene head into Albufeira.

Golf facilities are located at the top end of the complex and can be reached by foot in 15 minutes or very quickly by car. On-site professional coaching is available. Practise green and 9 hole course maintained to a very high standard. You can reach 9 other well known courses within 1 hours drive.
Travel
Nearest airport is Faro airport. It takes approximately 30 minutes to drive from Faro to Balaia Golf Village. The Village Reception will also arrange for you to be collected. You can also fly to Lisbon but allow a drive of around 2.5 to 3 hours by motorway. You can hire cars at Faro airport or at the Balaia Village.
Distances
You have full access to many beaches along the Algarve coast, Wet and Wild and Splash slide parks, the Dolphinarium as well as the most easterly point in Europe (Cape St Vincent) and some excellent surfing beaches nearby.
Further details
You will be spoilt for choice for restaurants. You have the regulars reproducing UK food but with very little effort you can also find some more authentic restaurants serving Cataplana, great kebabs as well as the renowned Ruis in Albefeira old town. Great shoe shops and the Algarve shopping village and Nike outlet within 20 minutes drive.
