Notes on prices
Air-conditioning is optional and carries a supplement of £25 per week. Rental prices are based on up to 4 sharing. There is a supplement of £15 per week for each extra person up to a maximum of 6 persons.
Changeover day
The 6 week summer school holiday season has a changeover day of Saturday. Outside of this season there is more flexibility.

Outside
The apartment is situated in arguably the best location in the village. South-facing, with views right across the landscaped gardens and driving range, the area is quiet, yet just 3 minutes walk to the lovely 3-tiered cascading pool and Clubhouse restaurant and bar.
Coast/Beach
Balaia Golf Village is situated on the coast. There are two beautiful beaches within 10-15 minutes walk from the Village entrance. Many more gorgeous beaches can be discovered with the use of a car within 20-30 minutes drive.
Golf
Balaia Golf Village is centrally located for the Algarve’s golf courses, with eight championship courses within a 20 minute drive (such as Quinta Do Lago, Vilamoura Old Course and Salgados). You can sharpen your game on-site with Balaia's new nine-hole executive golf course which is considered a real gem and designed to test every golfer, irrespective of their handicap. Along with its 60-bay driving range, putting greens, practice bunkers and chipping areas, and with a Resident Professional to offer lessons, Balaia Golf Village offers everything for the golfer, including a Golf Academy and a fully-stocked pro-shop offering a large range of golf equipment and clothing. A very comfortable Clubhouse with it’s own bar and restaurant and a large sunny terrace overlooking the course and the sea in the distance completes the scene. Discounted fees for more than 20 golf courses in the region.
Travel
Located 30 minutes drive from Faro airport. Car rental is not essential but would be recommended to get the most out of your holiday. Transport can be arranged from Faro airport to Balaia. Taxis around Albufeira are very cheap and can be ordered from Reception
Distances
Albufeira New Town is about 15 minutes stroll. The Old Town is 5-10 minutes drive. Albufeira has a plethora of restaurants, bars, shops and a very lively cosmopolitan nightlife. Vilamoura with its lovely Marina and, of course, golf courses, is 15-20 minutes drive
Further details
At the entrance to the Village there is a well-stocked supermarket and take-away, hairdressers and beauty salon, shops and a Health Clinic. More shops and restaurants are within walking distance and beautiful golden beaches are a mere 500m from the village entrance.
There is on-site management and security along with an excellent 24 hour reception, where you can change money, book taxis, book airport transfers, arrange baby sitting, hire cots etc. You will find them always most helpful. Reception also has an internet facility for guests.
Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the rental is required to secure the booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival.
