This luxury apartment enjoys an open aspect over beautifully landscaped gardens. Within this small gated resort, there is a large heated pool and small children's/baby pool,a children's play area and a tennis court. Each of the spacious rooms in the apartment has been furnished to a high standard with underfloor heating and air conditioning. The kitchen, equipped with all modern appliances, opens via patio doors to a large balcony where there is a table and seating with space to relax and enjoy the views. This resort is an ideal base to relax or explore the Western Algarve.

Outside
The views from this apartment are beautiful. The front of the apartment overlooks the tennis court, water features, and beyond to the pool and sun terraces. From the rear bedroom balcony views extend across fields to the Monchique mountains.The apartment is on the first floor in a block of only six. The large covered balcony adjoining the lounge and kitchen has a comfortable table and six chairs and two sunloungers. It enjoys the morning sunshine and provides shade from the heat in the afternoon. There is a clothes dryer on the smaller bedroom balcony. Destinos restaurant (open mid June to mid Sept) has a lovely outside terrace for dining and provides a range of snacks and meals.

Coast/Beach
Nearest beach Meia Praia, 4km of sea and sand, is 5-10 mins drive, or about 15 min walk. Here there are several water activities. Visit the astonishing grotto's of Ponta da Piedade and the various sandy coves and cliff bays dotted along the coast from Lagos to Costa Vicenta.

Golf
The Algarve is renowned for its wonderful golf courses.
The closest are; Palmares golf course 1km, a 5 min drive with beautiful views of the Bay of Lagos. Boavista golf course approx 10mins drive, is suitable for both beginners and advanced golfers. Penina golf course approx 15 mins drive.

Travel
The nearest airport is Faro which is less than 1 hour's drive from the resort. Car hire is recommended to explore the western coast and surrounding area.
There is also an excellent bus and train service from Faro to Lagos.

Distances
Lagos centre and marina are just a few minutes drive. Here you can wander through the maze of cobbled streets, enjoy the atmosphere of the modern marina, bars and restaurants, or shop at the local markets. For the young at heart, Lagos has a lively night life. Nearby family attractions include dolphin watching trips, Lagos Zoo and two water parks.
Silves and Monchique are less than an hours drive.

Further details
There are lots of restaurants offering Portuguese, Italian, Chinese or English menus at reasonable prices.Lagos centre has a real buzz in the evenings with street entertainers and musicians.Try some of the fish restaurants down at the harbour
There is a small supermarket under a mile and many larger ones in and around Lagos.
The local farmers market on a Saturday morning provides good fresh produce and locally made preserves.The Mercado in the centre of Lagos sells fresh fish daily. The bigger markets are held monthly.

Booking notes
Requested dates will be held for three days to enable booking of flights and forwarding of a 25% non-refundable deposit. Confirmation of booking will be sent on receipt of deposit. Full payment required 8 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of £100 pounds paid prior to receipt of keys will be returned minus any damage costs following departure.
Directions and further information will be sent on receipt of final payment.
