Located about 1 mile from Sao Bras, the cottage is in a rural and peaceful area with countryside all around. The cottage is set on a hillside and is terraced to provide a delightful covered area for eating, reading or sleeping; an area with a spa soft tub (can be heated in cooler months) and a further terrace with private pool for sunbathing and relaxing, or watching the sun go down with a drink or two. An ideal place from which to explore the many places of interest in the Algarve, visit the coastal beaches or play golf. A walkers paradise, with miles of unspoilt mountains to explore, horse riding available locally or make use of our two bicycles and take a look around the valley.

Payment can be made in Euros direct to Portuguese bank account.
Repeat bookings will be given a £25 reduction on 2009 prices.

Towels and linen for indoor use are provided, and maid service is twice weekly with towels changed twice a week and sheets once a week. Please bring your own beach towels. |
Accessibility
Access not good for wheelchair users.
Outside
Mostly terraced with areas of shade available all day. Swimming pool 6m x 3m for exclusive use of guests, sunbeds with covers and parasols. Spa soft tub. Outside tables and chairs, hammock. 2 mountain bicycles for guests to use. BBQ.
Coast/Beach
There are many beaches within easy reach. Between 20-25 mins by car will get you to a selection of many of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve and full details are available in the house book.
Golf
There are a number of golf courses between 20 - 40 mins away on both the western and eastern Algarve. We have provided details of most of them, please ask for any further information.
Travel
Faro Airport is 20 mins by car. Car hire is recommended. We can give advice on this if required.
Distances
Sao Bras is 1 mile away, it is possible to cycle to the supermarket in 10 minutes (we know, we've done it!). Loule is also very close, and the towns of Estoi and Faro are within 20 mins by car. The resorts of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago are also about 30 mins by car. A guest book is available at the cottage with information on most places of interest nearby.
Further details
There is a very good, and reasonably priced restaurant within walking distance of the cottage. Sao Bras has a well stocked 'Intermarche' supermarket, a market, many shops, banks, restaurants and cafes. Tennis courts and horse riding are available in the area.
Booking notes
A 30% deposit is payable at the time of booking with the balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. If booking is within 6 weeks of arrival, full payment will be required.
