Situated in a calm street this villa is not only a pace away from Peniche but the beach is also a short drive away while all the village shops and cafes are within walking distance. Within a 7 minute drive you have marina in Peniche where it's possible for you to admire the typical Penichense fishing boats whilst with Lisbon only a stone drop away, Peniche/Atouguia da Baleia are such great cultural places with amazing beaches and relaxed atmosphere that will offer a fantastic holiday experience for both adults and children. This villa is also equipped with Satellite TV (several English speaking channels - movies, sports, news and children's channels).

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
When making a booking you will be required to pay a deposit of £200. The remaining outstanding amount should be paid 6 weeks before your arrival. We accept payments by cheque, bank transfer or cash.
On arrival you will be expected to pay 200 euros deposit for damages. This will be returned to you on the day of your departure, subject to final property inspection.
Changeover day
Please note that the villa will have to be vacated by 10am on your last day.

| Bedrooms: | The 1st bedroom has a double bed as well as an en-suite. The 2nd bedroom has twin beds. The 3rd bedroom is also equipped with twin beds. |
| Bathrooms: | The villa as 3 bathrooms. Downstairs between the kitchen and living room, there is a wc equipped with a shower. Upstairs you have the family bathroom with a family bath, wc and bidet, then you have the master bedroom with an en-suite with shower. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is brand new and is equipped with cooker, family refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, kettle. |
| Utility Room: | The utility corner is equipped with a washing machine. |
| Living Rooms: | The living room has TV and DVD. There are two double sofas. There is also the dining room which is attached to the kitchen and has a dining table for six persons. |

The villa comes with weekly cleaning services (minimum once during your stay). Towels and bedlinen will also be provided. |

At the back of the villa, there is a private garden where it's possible for the children to play safely or to sit down and enjoy a quiet evening or simply have a meal whilst enjoying a great wine.

Being blessed with some of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal, Atouguia da Baleia is an ideal holiday destination as it is only 5 minutes driving from Peniche and from the local beaches.

There is a golf course within a 5 to 10 minute driving distance.
Travel
The nearest airport is the Lisbon airport. You can fly to Lisbon using Easy Jet as well as TAP and BA as they very attractive deals once in a while. Hertz and Budget are a good companies to hire your car from as they have very competitive price and a friendly service.
Distances
If you are up for a day in the shops you can drive down to Lisbon and have a shopping expedition or visit some of most historical places in Portugal. You can also decide that you would like to time travel and so a visit to the walled medieval town of Obidos would be most called for as Obidos is one of the most beautiful and famous attractions of this region. I would suggest comfortable walking shoes as the narrow streets are cobbled and sometimes steep, but worth it.

Atouguia da Baleia is a small village that belongs to the City Hall of Peniche, lying in the shelter of a great headland on Portugal's rugged Atlantic coast, this area is most famous for its lace-making and numerous fish restaurants, which during the summer serve up some of the tastiest sardines in Portugal.
Places to visit: If you are looking for a holiday where visiting places of interest is a high priority then Atouguia da Baleia and Peniche won't disappoint you. In the small village of Atouguia da Baleia you can visit the ruins of the Atouguia Castle as well as the Forte da Praia da Consolação. The São Leonardo Church and the Atouguia da Baleia Church are the places where you would be able to admire some prime examples of the medieval history this area offers. The Atouguia da Baleia Cruise, the Nossa Senhora da Conceição Church and the Pelourinho de Atouguia da Baleia are also places you should not skip a visit. All the above monuments are now considered a cultural Heritage.
In the town of Peniche, only 5 minutes from the picturesque village of Atouguia da Baleia, at the water's edge on the south side, stands the 16th-century Fortaleza. Used as a prison during the repressive Salazar regime, it now contains a museum of local archaeology and crafts, incorporating former cells, solitary chambers and the visitors' grilles. In Largo 5 de Outubro, the Church of the Misericórdia has 17th-century painted ceiling panels depicting the life of Jesus Christ and patterned 'azulejo' glazed tiles from the same period. For

The villa is within a 5 to 7 minute driving distance from the several beaches in the area. If you are having a swimming pool day, only 5 minutes away in the town of Peniche there is a very attractive water park. In the center of the village, only a few minutes walking from the villa, you will find a very nice park.
