Separate shower room with wc. Fully fitted modern seperate kitchen with all home from home facilities and includes crockery, glassware and cutlery, oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, kettle, toaster, iron/ironing board. Lounge/dining room with pool views leading onto the private terrace for outside dining and sun bathing. Modern furniture and décor, including 2 leather settees. Cable TV (including English channels). Dining table and chairs. Air-conditioning/heating. Bath/beach/pool towels and bed linen provided. Change of towels, bed linen on a weekly basis. |

Notes on accommodation
Fully fitted air-conditioning/heating. Video phone to complex external doors. Electric security shutters to terrace doors and all external windows. Security safe and DVD player in Apartment 1. Enclosed terrace suitable for young children. CD player available both apartments. We provide a complimentary welcome pack including a bottle of wine, bottle of mineral water, tea, sugar, milk and beer – just a few essentials to start you off. No pets allowed and guests are not permitted to smoke in the apartments.
Accessibility
Ground floor apartments and terraces with no internal steps. Disabled access with lift from the basement garage and ramps to the swimming pool complex. Door width to terraces from lounges may limit wheelchair access also limited access to showers. Low level breakfast bar built in, in Apartment 1.
No steps to Forte Novo beach enabling easy access.
Outside
The apartments both have private enclosed terraces of some 30 square metres, suitable for outside dining and sun bathing. Outdoor furniture in Apartment 1 includes table with 6 chairs and 4 sun loungers. There is also a large parasol with stand.

Both terraces overlook the swimming pool complex and tennis courts with landscaped lawn and gardens. Shared swimming pool 20 x10m with separate circular toddler’s paddling pool and external shower, toilet facilities. Enclosed shared tennis court. Private condominium garage with own car parking spaces available if required.
Coast/Beach
The extensive beach is 150m from the apartments and stretches for miles in either direction. Blue flag beach, easy access, no steps, great swimming, clean and well maintained, safe especially for children and the elderly. Breakwaters curb erosion and provide sheltered bathing on Quarteria beach.
Walk to Vale do Lobo or Vilamoura along the beachfront, lots of beach restaurants, or along the promenade to the bustling centre of Quarteira. Local water sports available.
Golf
Portugal Masters 16 - 19 October 2008 at Oceanico Victoria Golf Club, Vilamoura. This is a ranking European tour event. The following excellent golf courses are all within 6km of the apartment: Vilamoura - The Old Course, Pinhal Course, Laguna Course, Millennium Course, Victoria Course, Vila Sol Championship. Vale Do Lobo - Ocean Course, Royal Course. Quinta Do Lago - Pinheiros Altos Lago N, Quinta do Lago and Sao Lourenco.
Travel
Faro Airport 20 minutes by taxi or car (airport transfers for up to 4 people available by arrangement). Quarteira bus station 5 minutes walk. As all amenities are within walking distance a car is not necessary unless you want to visit the many interesting places on the Algarve. The apartments both have a secure underground private car parking space allocated.
Distances
Faro 20 minutes drive - historic old town, boat trips on Ria Formosa and great modern shopping centre.
Loule 15 minutes drive - pretty inland town with good fresh fish and fruit daily market.
Almancil 5 minutes drive - church of Sao Lourenco do Mato worth a visit.
Vilamoura 5 minutes drive - fabulous Marina with great night life and international restaurants.
Albufeira 20 minutes drive - a choice of beautiful beaches
Aqua Show water park 5 minutes drive.
Further details
Quarteira is a bustling town with lots of good priced local and international restaurants and shops. The famous fish market and other markets open every day with local flavour and atmosphere. There is a range of supermarkets within easy walking distance, the closest being just 100m away. There is also a bakery close by for fresh bread daily. Very friendly area with lots to do. Algarve's biggest and most famous market on Wednesdays for gifts and souvenirs.

Guest comments
The apt is everything we had hoped it would be with all mod cons and a huge enclosed terrace. Both pools were ideal for the boys one learning to swim, and other taking his first dip. Towler family August 08.
