Situated within the Oasis Parque leisure complex near the quaint fishing village of Alvor, our brand new air conditioned two bedroom ground floor apartment is the ideal setting to enjoy the best that the Algarve can offer. The apartment is furnished to an exceptional high standard and benefits from 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one en-suite), large lounge with sofa bed and fully integral kitchen. The apartment has garden and patio space to front and rear. The Oasis Parque leisure complex is an exclusive, modern development with its location being just 3km from the bustling town of Portimão and the beaches at Alvor, Praia da Rocha and Praia Do Vau. Some of the best golf courses in the Algarve are located just a short distance away with the renowned, Henry Cotton designed Penina course within 3km of the complex.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Please contact us for booking deals. Notes:- A 25% Non refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival. A £150 security deposit is required, refundable within two weeks of return pending apartment check.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. Access to the apartment is available from 3pm. Checkout time is 11am to allow time for apartment clean. Both departure and access times may be flexible.

Bedrooms: Both twin bedrooms include built in wardrobes and stand alone units providing ample storage space. There is also a fold away single bed and a sofa bed (apartment can sleep 6 people maximum). There is also a travel cot availabile within the apartment.
Bathrooms: Bedroom 1 is en-suite and comprises bath, shower, wash basis, wc, bidet and shaving points.
Bathroom 2 includes shower unit, bidet, wash basis and wc.
Kitchen: The fully integral and modern kitchen includes oven/hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The kitchen also includes toaster, kettle, cutlery and crockery.
Living Rooms: The tastefully furnished large lounge includes sofa/bed, armchair, 32" LCD TV (with freeview channels), DVD player, iPod/MP3 dock, oak units, dining space with oak table/chairs. French windows open onto a well maintained front garden and patio area.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All towels and bed linen are included. Pool and beach towels to be provided by guests. For two week or longer stays, a towel and linen change can be provided upon request for £25.

 

Notes on accommodation
The apartment provides a comfortable, luxurious and safe location for young families and couples alike. The ground floor position ensures easy access for the elderly and infirm also. The apartment has secure roller blinds to patio doors and windows. Access door to apartment is double locked as is apartment block access door.

Accessibility
The apartment is located on the ground floor. There are no steps into the apartment and room to room access is wheelchair friendly.

Outside
The ground floor apartment has gardens with patio area to front and rear. The rear garden includes barbeque facilities and patio furniture.

Our guests will have access to the Oasis Parque leisure complex. The complex is 150 yards from the apartment and includes tennis courts, large outdoor pool, smaller outdoor pool for children, outside jacuzzi, indoor heated pool, indoor spa, children’s play area, licensed snack bar with satellite TV, beautifully maintained garden areas. Access to the leisure complex is via swipe card, ensuring child safety. Swipe cards will be made available to guests free of charge (there is a fee for loss of card).

Coast/Beach
Within 5 mins drive of the apartment beautiful sandy beaches and hidden coves are in abundance within the coastal resorts of Alvor, Praia da Rocha and Praia du Vau. From the traditional fishing village of Alvor to the lively town of Praia de Rocha and the bustling marina of Portimao you will find a variety of restaurants and bars. There is also small number of welcoming local bars and restaurants within ten minutes walk of the apartment.

Golf
Golfers will benefit from the close proximity of the apartment to the Western Algarve's top quality golf courses, with the championship course of Penina being less than 3km away including Gramacho, Morgardo and Palmares which are within easy access of the apartment. Close to the renowned Henry Cotton designed Penina golf course. With the apartment being within easy access of the main A22 motorway that runs from west to east, all golf courses within the Algarve are within comfortable reach. Travel
The A22 motorway allows easy access to all areas of the Algarve and its many courses. Please visit the owner’s website for further details. The apartment lies within a 35 min. drive of Faro airport. Car hire is advisable but not necessary. An airport pickup/drop off service can be supplied - please enquire.

Distances
The Oasis Parque complex has easy access to all amenities. The quaint fishing village of Alvor, the tourist area of Praia da Rocha, the commercial town and port of Portimao and their expansive beaches all lie within a 5-10 min drive of the complex. Taxis are widely available and inexpensive, and there are also regular and cheap local transport services. The new A22 motorway which travels West to East ensures that destinations on the Algarve are within easy reach of the apartment.

Further details
Nightlife around the apartment is quiet. There are a number of local bars and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment providing the chance to enjoy the authentic Portuguese fare and warm hospitality.

A short drive 5 minute drive or cheap taxi ride will take you to the quaint fishing village of Alvor. Numerous quality restaurants surrounding the small harbour and up into the narrow cobbled streets abound, with many cooking the local catch of the day outside. A diverse range of bars, many with live entertainment can be found throughout the village.

A short drive up into the stunning Monchique Mountains is recommended with a stop at one of the many quality village restaurants to experience the local delicacies. Chicken piri-piri is a must!

The Alvor area has much to offer with walking and bird watching for nature enthusiasts. There is also diving and sailing available at Portimao. Shoppers will enjoy the beautiful town of Lagos with its many boutiques located around the old castle ruins. Zoomarine at Guia, Aqua Land and Slide and Splash are within only half an hours drive of the apartment.

Cancellation refunds:- Up to 8 weeks of arrival date – no cancellation charge. 4 to 8 weeks of arrival date 50% of rate refunded. 2 to 4 weeks of arrival date 25% of rate refunded. Less than 2 weeks of arrival date – no refund. Sorry - non smokers, no pets.
