Vila Sol is only 12 miles (20 mins) from Faro airport and a few minutes drive from Vilamoura, with its stunning marina which offers a variety of bars and restaurants.

Outside
Patio doors lead from the lounge onto the sizeable first floor terrace, which has a beautiful view of the communal garden and pool area. The lower terrace is equipped with barbeque facilities and a table with 4 chairs. A further set of steps leads to a spacious rooftop terrace, which receives the sun all day long. It is equipped with 4 sun-loungers.

Coast/Beach
It is approximately a 10 minute drive to Falesia, Marina and Quarteira beaches.
Vila Sol has its own private beach, a 20 minute drive away at Vale do Lobo/Ancao.

Golf
The apartment is situated at Sunset Villas on the prestigious 5 star Vila Sol Golf and Spa Resort. The 27-hole championship Vila Sol golf course and club house is only a 5 minute walk away. There are many other championship courses in Vilamoura within a 10 minute drive and also at Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo within a 20 minute drive.

Travel
Vila Sol is about 12 miles (20 mins) from Faro. Full directions are available on request. A car is recommended, but taxi hire is readily available. We can arrange for airport transfer via our management company at additional cost.

Distances
The Aqua park is only 0.5 miles away. Quarteira and Vilamoura 3 miles and Loule 5 miles.

Further details
Shopping: Vila Sol now has its own shopping centre at the entrance to the resort & has a small supermarket for essentials, a bar/pub, boutique shops and a fine selection of restaurants. For large supermarkets, we recommend Apolonia on the way to Almancil, which carries British goods. There are other generally cheaper supermarkets such as Modelo, Lidl and Plus on the way to Loule. There is a large shopping centre known as "Algarve Shopping" about 20 minutes away, near Albufeira. You can find a number of smaller supermarkets in Vilamoura. We can arrange for the fridge to be stocked with essentials before arrival at an additional cost. Please contact the owners to arrange this. Local restaurants: You can use the various restaurants in the Vila Sol hotel complex and golf resort. There are five Portuguese restaurants within a short distance. Their specialities include grilled fish, pork and clams, cataplana and grilled chicken piri-piri (spicy). There is also a good Chinese and Indian restaurant in close proximity. Vilamoura marina offers many quality restaurants covering a wide variety of cuisines.

Booking notes
Please note smoking is only allowed on the terraces and not inside the apartment in order to preserve the future enjoyment of other guests. 25% non-refundable deposit due at the time of booking. Balance due 6 weeks before arrival. A refundable security, key, breakages and callout deposit of £100/€100 is payable with your final balance – this will be refunded within 21 days after you return subject to satisfactory inspection. 'We have stayed at this property twice now and really love it! The property is very clean and has all the mod cons a family with young children could need. Our 3 year old son had plenty of room to play on the terraces and the extra safety provided by the owners (safety gates) were very much appreciated. The complex is wonderful and we used the pool facilities of the nearby hotel too. Lovely restaurants on site and the management company were very helpful and friendly.
