This beautiful apartment overlooks the beach & sea, also the pool & large sun terrace. The apartment is furnished to a high standard complete with super king-size bed in the bedroom, which unzips to 2 singles if preferred, 2 leather sofa beds in the lounge, fully equipped kitchen including oven/hob, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, bathroom with bath/shower, toilet, sink/bidet. Air-conditioning units which can also be used to heat in winter. The large sun terrace, furnished with sun loungers, table & chairs is sheltered from the wind, unlike apartments on higher floors which can be windy, you have amazing views and can see Vilamoura along the coast in the distance. The pool is reached by stairs or lift and there is private gated underground parking with lift access. The lift also takes you down to -6 which is street level, making the apartment easily accessible from the resort. The resort has a choice of great bars & restaurants, to suit all tastes.

Notes on prices
Prices are for property for 7 nts. For durations other than 7 nights calculate nightly rate, or contact us for a quote. Minimum stay is 3 nights, except July and August when it is 7 nights, long stays of 21 nights+ will get a discounted rate. The dates you require can be held for a week, after which you will need to pay a deposit or the availability will be released.

Changeover day
Changeover day and length of stay are flexible. Minimum stay of 7 nights applies from 16 July - 31 August.

Notes on accommodation
This apartment will suit couples, families & golfers. Due to its close proximity to the resort it makes it a very stress free location to stay for a holiday. Fantastic beaches within easy reach & close to the busier resorts of Albufeira & Vilamoura. The apartment is only 40 mins from the airport, transfers can be booked for approx 64 euros return. We have air conditioning throughout which can be used for heating in winter. There are a number of golf courses close by. We have a very high level of repeat business, many of our guests fell in love with the apartment when they first came & now come back every year. We have furnished it with high quality modern furniture, and our guests comment on how well equipped it is. We have satellite TV with 100's of channels including UK channels and also a DVD Player. The resort has some amazing restaurants and some friendly bars, and there are 2 supermarkets within easy walking distance. Car hire not essential.

Accessibility
The apartment can be accessed by wheelchair, the pool area and town/beach can be accessed by lift or ramp. The beach has a ramp down to it. The bathroom has a bath with shower over.

Outside
The apartment has one of the largest sun terraces in the complex and unlike those on higher floors is completely sheltered from wind. You get the sun all day long, but shade is available if the sun gets too much. There is a table, 4 chairs, parasol, 4 sunloungers on the large terrace, which overlooks the pool area and sun terrace. The pool area has a shower and can be accessed by lift or stairs. The lift in the complex goes down to -6 and -4 which is street level in the resort, or if you are fit you can use the steps that come out right on the beach by La Cigale restaurant. Street parking is available but in high season the area is very busy so we have the luxury of underground parking, accessible by lift.

The nearest beach is a few minutes walk away with many other beaches a short distance away. The beach in Olhos de Agua is in a small bay, there are shops and restaurants close to the beach. Just around the headland is the long beach of Praia Falesia which stretches all the way to Vilamoura, walkable in approx 60 minutes along the shore!

Car hire not essential, but best prices are at airport if you wish to hire a car. Taxi rank 5 minutes walk (taxi to Albufeira centre approx 6 euros). Bus Stop 5 minute walk away. Excursions to tourist attractions available from Olhos de Agua.

Further details
The nearest shops, cashpoint and chemist are approx 200m away. A choice of restaurants and bars are within 200m of the apartment complex. Although the apartments are on the hillside overlooking the bay, access is very easy as the lift takes you to the pool area or to street level near the beach. Taxi rank and bus stop 5 minute walk away, Albufeira is approx 6 euros by taxi

Booking notes
Reservations will be provisionally held for 7 days until the deposit is paid. 25% deposit required to confirm reservation, payable by cheque, online transfer or Paypal (add 3.5% for paypal fees). Balance due 2 months prior to departure preferably by bank transfer (please request account details) or by cheque. Damages deposit of £150 to be sent with balance cheque.

About the owner
Our family have been great fans of the Algarve for over 15 years, and have always been particularly fond of the area around Albufeira and Olhos de Agua. The opportunity to buy this property through a friend in the real estate business in Portugal arose and we jumped at the chance. We have taken great pride in furnishing the apartment with brand new good quality furniture, and guests always compliment us on the quality of the apartment and its facilities. My husband, myself our 2 children visit the Algarve 3-4 times a year. The weather is wall to wall sunshine in summer, and lovely and mild in winter with bright blue skies, perfect for golf! It makes a lovely change from the wind and rain at home, so its lovely to sneak off to Portugal for a weekend between November and March.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We were keen to get a property close to the beach, so when this property was available off plan, we could see from its location it was going to have amazing views of the beach and coastline, and also be in the centre of a beautiful Portuguese village. However its close enough to the larger resorts of Albufeira and Vilamoura if you fancy a change of scenery one evening. Olhos de Agua, meaning Eyes of the the Water, is still a small fishing village at heart, but has some fantastic restaurants and friendly bars and a beautiful beach.

Unique benefits of the property
Our apartment offers private parking, accessible by lift. The lift also takes you right down to the street in the resort, to save your legs if the steps are too challenging in the sunshine! Our balcony is somewhat larger than many of the others in the complex, and is in the sun all day until approx 5pm. It is also sheltered so if it is a bit breezy, in the cooler months, you will still feel the benefit of the warm sunshine. The views of Olhos beach and Falesia beach are breathtaking, we also overlook the pool which does not get crowded, even in high season. I can guarantee you will enjoy your stay at our apartment, and want to visit again. Some of our guests are already on their 3rd visit, which is pretty good considering we have only been open for a year !
