Large and luxurious new air-conditioned apartment in a secure complex. The pool is the the largest out of all the adjacent complexes, set within garden areas with BBQ facilities. The apartment has a large beautifully furnished lounge with satellite TV and music system, large ensuite master bedroom, two further double bedrooms and a second hydromassage bathroom/toilet. Excellent restaurants/bars and shops are located close to the apartment. The quaint fishing village of Alvor and beaches are 20mins walk. Alvor has a multitude of shops, restaurants and bars to suit all ages and tastes. The nearby beaches are renowned and range from isolated sandy coves with beautifully coloured cliffs to long stretches of pristine sand. Two secure underground car parking spaces are available.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is geared towards providing a quiet stress free holiday for families, groups and golfers. Sky satellite TV with UK channels. A highchair and cot are available on request. The balconies are enclosed by laminated safety glass and have views over the pool to keep an eye on the kids. The living room and bedrooms have air-conditioning which also provides heating in winter, and also attractive ceiling fans/chandaliers. The apartment is wheelchair accessible and has a lift. If you fancy a quite night in then how about an evening barbeque next to the pool with a nice glass of wine or port.

Outside
The large pool incorporates a smaller pool for children and is surrounded by a spacious attractive tiled area with brick built barbecue facilities set alongside landscaped grounds. The pool and surrounds are illuminated at night. The three balconies all have sunloungers which fold to become chairs and can be taken down to the pool.

Coast/Beach
At it’s eastern end the long expanse of the main Alvor beach becomes a coastline of attractive coves with more secluded beaches backed by colourful scenic cliffs that are so characteristic of the Algarve. Still further to the east is Praia da Rocha with its famous vast stretches of golden sands. Water-sports, bars and restaurants service all the beach areas as would be expected in a high end resort area.

Golf
The Algarve climate is perfect for year round golfing and it is no coincidence then that the region has built up a reputation as a top class popular golfing area. The Alto golf course is 10mins walk and the Penina course is only a very short drive away. If even more variety is required there are still more courses nearby including Palmares, Silves, Pinta and Gramach. Indeed, the whole of the Algarve golf scene is within 30mins drive from Alvor.

Travel
Airport transfers can be arranged at very competitive rates if required. Although not essential for the local scene, car hire is advisable to explore the region more fully. Faro airport is 45mins drive way. There is a regular cheap bus route into Alvor or Portimao town just around the corner from the apartment and taxis into Alvor are around £2.50. Car hire is very reasonably priced.

Distances
Faro airport is approximately 65km by car, whilst Alvor village and the nearest beaches are roughly equidistant at around 1.5km. To the east of Alvor, Praia Da Rocha and Portimao are 4km distance. To the west, Lagos is 25km drive.

Further details
The nearby shops and mini-markets stock everything you will need on your holiday and there is plenty of local entertainment both in Alvor and Praia da Rocha. Good restaurants, including the renowned Por do Sol, are just a short walk away and there are numerous other restaurants in Alvor that cater for all tastes. For the activity minded there are water sports, ten pin bowling, and even flying lessons or parachuting. Further afield there are water parks and go-karting. There is a zoo near Lagos.

Booking notes
An initial booking deposit of 25% is required which should be forwarded by cheque along with the supplied booking form. The final balance plus £200 breakages deposit is payable 8 weeks before departure date. The breakages deposit will be refunded shortly after satisfactory inspection of the apartment. There is a strict no smoking policy.
