Three double bedrooms with 3 full bath/shower rooms, fully fitted separate kitchen and large lounge/dining room, most of which have doors leading directly onto to terrace, garden and pool. Located only 5 mins drive from the picturesque old market town of Aljezur with its historic castle and museums. The villa gives easy access to the many magnificent surfing beaches of the Western Algarve and yet retains a secluded position within the Natural Park of St. Vincenti, enjoying panoramic views of the forested hills and countryside.

Notes on prices
Additional days will be charged pro-rata and subject to availability. One full months rentals will attract a discount. Winter long term lets (4 weeks) from 1 February - 14 March 4200 euros - including pool heating 4500 euros.
Changeover day
Saturday to Saturday preferred but not essential subject to availability. To allow for cleaning guest are required depart by 10.30am and arrive no earlier than 4pm though luggage can be left earlier by prior arrangement.

Accessibility
The villa is all at one level though there is one shallow step access through entrance doors making them unsuitable for wheelchairs though easily manageable for elderly clients.
Outside
The heated swimming pool is approx 10m in length with walk down access to shallow end and steps into deep end. Pool has a maximum depth of 2m. Maintained twice weekly. Patio area is part covered allowing for shaded alfresco dining/seating for up to 8t. Additional stone/ceramic table and bench dining area for 6. Six wooden cushioned sun-loungers. Wood/charcoal outside traditional pizza/bread and separate BBQ. Access to private and secluded walks through the orchards and pinewoods. Secure private level grass recreational area for ball games etc. Washing line/pegs/wood store. Covered parking for 2 cars with additional private gravelled parking available adjacent to driveway. External sensor lighting to gate, driveway and villa, with timer up-lighting to the pool and surrounding area.
Coast/Beach
Burgau and in the Marina town of Lagos 20 mins drive. In addition to the many surf beaches, Arrifana being the closest 10 min drive and most renowned in the south of Portugal for it's versatile surfing, the region also offers horse-riding, fishing and bird watching. The less energetic clients can relax in the rejuvenating baths of the famous mountain spa town of Monchique 25km scenic drive.
Golf
To the south there are a number of separate courses within ½ hour drive of the villa namely Boavista, Palmares, Park da Floresta, Penina and Alto Club. Other sporting activities include tennis courts - available in Val de Telha 5km away.
Travel
The nearest airport is Faro approx 1 hour drive, mainly along a motorway. Car hire is advisable in order to take full of advantage of what the surrounding area has to offer although the taxi fare to and from the airport is approx 80 euros each way. There is also a regular train service from Faro to Lagos and a bus service from Lagos to Aljezur twice daily (bus stop 2 min walk).

Further details
The Moorish town of Aljezur (4km) offers historical churches, castle and museums together with local services, banks, ATM machines, restaurants, bars, shops and covered market selling local produce including fresh bread, fish, meat and vegetables. All the local beaches have restaurants and bars and there are surf schools/shops with surf equipment for hire in Aljezur, Carrapateira and Amado. Cycles can be hired locally for as little as 5 euros per day.
Booking notes
A deposit of 30% is required at time of booking. The balance being due 8 weeks prior to start date of holiday. Bookings made within the eight week period should be paid in full. Payment to be made by cheque or bank transfer in euros (unless otherwise agreed). On receipt of final payment you will receive directions on how to reach the villa from the airport and the contact telephone number of the local English manager. Upon arrival you will receive a complementary welcome pack and villa A-Z.
