Notes on accommodation
Air conditioning is included. All bedrooms and lounge/dining have remote controlled air-conditioning units. Pool heating available at extra charge of £100 per week. Baby cots and high chairs are included if required. The baby cots have good quality mattresses. We also have an additional Z bed that can be moved to any room.
Outside
The main pool is 10 x 5 metres and can be heated. NEW for 2012 the pool area is fully fenced with lockable gates entering the pool area, this makes it very safe for toddlers and young children. There are twelve high quality sun loungers plus other tables and chairs by the pool. On the main front terrace there is relaxing armchairs and dining table and chairs, where you can take in the wonderful sea views. On the upstairs terrace there are wonderful views to the sea and the monchique mountains.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is carvoeiro town beach, but there are many beaches near by or along the coast for exploring.
Golf
In this region of the Algarve you have many golf courses to choose from, the Pestana resort is less than a 10 min drive and includes 2 championship courses along with the the David Leadbetter golf academy. The Vale do Milho 9 hole par 3 golf course is within a 5 minutes drive. The Sir Henry Cotton Championship couse at Pennina is approx 20 mins away. Vilamoura with its large number of golf courses is approx 20 mins.
Special interest holidays
Tennis is available at the nearby Rocha Brava club and at the Carvoeiro Tennis club both have excellent facilities.
Distances
10 minute walk to town and many restaurants. For shopping the Intermarche superstore is 1km away on the main Lagoa /Carvoeiro road. About 20 minutes drive away is 'Algarve Shopping' at Guia which is a large mall with many well known shops like Zara & Massimo Dutti.

Our stay was wonderful, attention had been paid to every detail in order for us to enjoy our time there. Lloyd was very helpful and Julliette was charming, a credit to such a great property. We really did not want for anything during our stay, a fabulous warm, clean pool, carefully planned seating areas to enjoy a shady lunch or evening drinks as the sun went down, quality fittings and linen and such a well equipped kitchen.
