’Casa Marga’ is a large and very spacious detached villa set in its own generous grounds. The grounds are totally walled/fenced giving complete security. The pool is kidney shaped (10x5m) and the large pool area benefits from the sun all day. There is ample parking for 2/3 cars. Set in a peaceful location, access to the surrounding holiday attractions is superb. Praia Marinha (considered to be one of the finest beaches on the Algarve) is 5 mins drive away and the bustling village of Carvoeiro is 10 mins drive. There are a number of excellent local restaurants within walking distance. Casa Marga guests can use the facilities at the nearby Vale del Rei Hotel on the same terms as hotel guests; these include saunas, massages, beauty treatments and a poolside snack bar.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. Guests are able to access the villa from 2pm on the day of their arrival and are asked to vacate by 10am on the day of their departure.

Notes on accommodation
Children who can use cot/high chair are additional to capacity of 6/7. Cot provided - no charge. High chair provided - no charge.
Separate secure play area for children. Childrens 'club' at nearby hotel during high season to give parents a break.
Accessibility
Casa Marga is not suitable for people with moderate or severe mobility problems.
Outside
Large secure gardens, with a large lawned area as well as flowerbeds, shrubs and stunning bourgainvilla. Huge patio surrounding pool which incorporates a purpose built barbecue and bar and an al fresco dining area. External pool shower.
Pool is kidney shaped 10m x 5m and remains in the sun for the whole of the day. Sunbed provided for each guest.
Other outside furniture includes sun shades, table and chairs (in addition to that by barbecue area). First floor large sun terrace with table chairs and sun shade.
Coast/Beach
Praia de Marinha is approx. 5 minutes drive and is considered to be one of the best beaches on the Algarve, other options are Praia Senhora da Rocha (really two beaches) 10 minutes drive and Praia Centianes 10 minutes drive, there are many other options - you are really spoiled for choice.
Golf
Vale de Milho is a par 3 course less than 10 mins drive. Full sized courses at Gramacho, Vale de Pinta and Silves are approx. 15 mins drive.
Travel
Faro airport is approx. 45 minutes drive.
Distances
The bustling village of Carvoeiro with wide choice of restaurants, shops and nightlife is 10 minutes drive.
There are two water parks within 10 minutes drive.
Zoomarine is 15 minutes drive.
The town of Lagoa with daily food market is 10 minutes drive.
The historic town of Silves (Moor castle) is 15 minutes drive - don't miss the Mediaeval Festival in August - it is brilliant!
Portimao (second lagest city in the Algarve) with its river promenades (Rio Arade) and shops is 20 minutes drive.
Further details
There are supermarkets within 10 minutes drive, alternatively there is a superb shopping centre at Guia (Algarve Shopping) 20 minutes drive. For those of you holding Makro cards there is a large Makro opposite Algarve Shopping.
Barclays Bank have a branch in nearby Lagoa. Multibanco's (ATMs) can be used for getting cash and can be found in most supermarkets.
There are anumber of restaurants within walking distance and some superb restaurants a short drive away (Casa Velhor dos Pescadoras and O Algar, both in Benagil particularly recommended), wide variety of restaurants to be found in Carvoeiro to suite all tastes.
From personal experience we feel we can recommend 'ownersinportugal.org' for your car hire needs, we have always found them to have extremely competitive rates - try them and compare.
The facilities offered at the nearby Vale Del Rei Hotel to their guests are also available to guests of Casa Marga, during the summer season they include a Children's Club (to give parents a break) and many, many more. We will be happy to provide further details to specific enquiries.
Booking notes
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival.
A 'damage deposit' cheque for £300 is also required when the balance is paid, this will be returned at the satisfactory conclusion of your stay.
