This property is in an excellent position with views of the mountains, sea and surrounding areas from the lounge, kitchen and from the large and exceptional terrace, which surrounds two sides of the property. The property comprises hall, lounge with dining area and a fully fitted and equipped kitchen. 3 double bedrooms with one having 1 double bed and two having 2 single beds. he lounge and all bedrooms have air conditioning. Satellite TV (Sky veiwers must bring own card), DVD player, CD/radio Hi-Fi, together with books and games. Set within the small and exclusive Alto do Perogil development above the beautiful and historic town of Tavira.

Long term winter rentals are available at reduced rates, excluding electricity and gas. Additional days can be added to your week or 2 week holiday at a daily rate.

Changeover day
We endeavor to maintain a degree of flexibility with regard to changeover days. However, in the event of a same day changeover we request that guests vacate the property by 10am to make available for incoming guests at 4pm.

Bathrooms: 1 bathroom adjacent to master bedroom with bath and shower over WC, bidet and wash basin.

1 bathroom en suite to bedroom 3 with shower cubicle WC and washbasin.
Kitchen: Hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker. George Foreman grill, vegetable steamer.
Living Rooms: The lounge has an open log fireplace which makes the property suitable for long winter lets. We also have air-conditioning and warm air heating throughout. The patio doors open directly onto the communal pool and garden.
Other: Extensive L-shaped private terrace with mountain and sea views surrounds two sides of the property. On the terrace there is the added benefit of a sink unit, refrigerator, gas BBQ and a storage area equipped with cutlery and crockery.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bedlinen and towels changed weekly. Full house cleaning is carried out before and after each booking. Additional cleaning and linen changes available on request at an additional charge. Beach/pool towels are not supplied.

 

Notes on accommodation
The property and area is a safe and private environment for children. The lounge has an open log fireplace which makes the property suitable for long winter lets. We also have air-conditioning and warm air heating throughout. The patio doors open directly onto the communal pool and garden. the property is non smoking, hoever smoking is permited on the terrace and gardens. Pets are not permitted.

Accessibility
The accommodation is not ideally suited for wheelchair accessibility. Having a car is not a requirement but is reccomended for access to other locations in East Algarve and Spain.

Outside
Sun loungers, chairs and umbrellas are provided. There is a large communal pool set in well manicured gardens with picnic tables and benches. There is more than adequate parking areas.

Coast/Beach
Superb sandy, wide, safe and clean blue flag accredited beaches are a specialty of this part of the Algarve. There is easy access by ferry or fisherman’s boat from Tavira or Cabanas. In Manta Rota, Praia Verde, Altura, Monte Gordo, Santa Luzia and Villa Real St. Antonio, by park and walk.

Golf
Within 8km of the property can be found 4 splendid golf courses. Benamor, Quinta da Ria, Quinta do Cima and Monte Rei (championship standard). Castro Marim is within 20 mins drive and also has 2 splendid courses.

Travel
Tavira is situated 35km east of Faro airport. There is an excellent taxi, train and bus connection. Alternatively you can hire a car from a number of rental companies located at Faro airport which would give you greater freedom to explore. Car hire is recommended but not a necessity for this location.

Distances
You are 15km to charming fisherman's towns of Olhao and Fuzeta. The nature reserve Ria Formosa is within 8km and unspoilt villages such as Santa Luzia, Cabanas and Cacela Velha are all within a few km. The Spanish border is approx 25 mins by car and Seville can be reached in a little over 1.5 hours.

Further details
Tavira is within walking distance of the property, and has an excellent array of shops, bars and restaurants and a marvelous daily market for fresh fruit vegetables and fish. For a friendly and relaxing holiday or short break Tavira is ideal. Guided tours are available in this historic town which has in excess of 35 churches, museums and fortified remains. Tavira is often called the prettiest town on the Algarve where you can relax and soak up the atmosphere.

Booking notes
At the time of booking a non-returnable deposit of 25% is required, with the 75% balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. On arrival a cash security deposit of £200 is payable. This will be refunded in full by bank transfer within 48 hours of departure. unless, 'by agreement' any sum necessary to rectify damages. A welcome pack is provided on arrival. This contains basic items such as bread, milk, water, plus enough food for a light snack.

Guest comments
Six of us stayed at this property and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A beautiful property in a nice quiet location. Very clean and has everything you need for your stay. Will deffinitley look to come back in the future!!
