For your convenience, located just 100 meters from the house is a small selection of local restaurants (Portuguese, Italina, Chinese), cafes, a supermarket, tennis courts and ATM. The townhouse is one of just 6 situated in private gardens and the pool is for the sole use of the residents of the six properties thus ensuring a delightful area for swimming and sunbathing. The house also has its own private BBQ and terrace dining area perfect for dining alfresco!

Changeover day
There is flexibility for changeover day and we will always try and accommodate your individual needs. Check in time is usually 3pm and check out time is 11am, but depending on other bookings we are flexible on this also.

Bedroom 1 with a double bed leads onto a large terrace overlooking the front gardens. Bedroom 2 with two singles beds overlooks the Sheraton Hotel Resort complex to the back of the house. Spare single bed available if required. |

An elegant sun filled spacious living area with a sofa, open fire, TV, DVD, music centre and a large dining room table and chairs with overhead ceiling fan. Decorated to a high standard the lounge area has patio doors leading out to a large terrace area. |
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: |
Bedlinen and towels are provided on arrival for the relevant occupants. A light cleaning service is provided a minimum of once a week. During a one week holiday towels will be changed once, and twice during a two week stay with bed linen changed once. |
Notes on accommodation
This accommodation is most suitable for families and couples. For families wishing to travel together there are two other houses available on the complex - ref P3362 and P1183. Cot and highchair are available on request. Sorry no pets are allowed. Guests are asked to bring their own beach towels please. Guests are kindly requested not to smoke inside the house but to use the outside areas.

Outside
There is a large swimming pool (shared just with the other residents) with a lawned area for sunbathing. Steps lead to the pool and are gated. Sunbeds and umbrellas are provided for use at the pool or in the landscaped gardens of the complex with tall pine trees for shade. The house has a wonderful front patio area with tables and chairs for dining outside and a private built in BBQ located just outside the kitchen area. The complex itself sits in grounds of mainly grassed areas and is gated for extra privacy.
Coast/Beach
Just 400 meters away is the award winning Falesia Beach with its stunning red rock cliffs and golden sands beach. The longest beach in the Algarve, it offers an excellent choice of facilities including parasols, sunbeds and in high summer there are water sports available. The beach is ideal for walkers and there are a limited number of bars and restaurants but all offering various mouth watering cuisines to suit all tastes including fantastic fresh sea food.
Golf
There are many high quality golf courses within a ten minute drive of the accommodation. The closest is the neighbouring Sheraton Pine Cliffs Golf Course which includes the famous 'Devils Parlour'. Close by are a range of courses at Vilamoura including the Millennium, Laguna, Victoria and Vilamoura's Old Course. There is also a golf academy and driving range.
Travel
Faro airport is just 30kms away and is just 40 minutes drive to the accommodation. As the Algarve spans a large area with wonderful sights and attractions, car hire is highly recommended to explore but not essential for this villa as there are a number of good restaurants and bars within walking distance, and the beach is a 5 - 6 min walk. Taxis are reasonably priced. Transfers can also be arranged to and from the airport for you if requested.
Distances
An excellent selection of bars and restaurants as well as as a supermarket are located very close to the complex for those not wishing to travel too far. Acoteias village is 1.4 km away - just a few minutes by car or a pleasant walk and has a great selection of very popular bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, Internet access and a bank. Vilamoura is only a 10 minute drive away with its stunning marina and if in need of some fabulous nightlife - Albufeira is only a 10 minute taxi ride away.
Further details
There are many major attractions for all the family to enjoy including ZooMarine (where you can swim with the dolphins), horse riding on the beach and some brilliant fun filled water parks all within a half hour drive of the house. Locally there is golfing, tennis, horse riding and a sports facility. Two large shopping centres are 'Algarve Shopping' in Guia and 'The Forum' in Faro just 20 - 30 minutes by car. The Algarve Shopping, is a large mall which is approx. 15 minutes drive away. Here you will find a variety of shops, a big supermarket, a bowling alley, a multi-screen cineman (most films are in English with Portuguese sub titles) and a food hall. The water parks are within easy reach - Aqualand and Slide & Splash being the most popular. The parks all provide buses that will pick up you up and return locally. If you want to get away from the coast for the day then a drive to Monchique and Foia (the highest point of the Algarve) is highly recommended. On the way you could visit the castle in Silves and stop for lunch of chicken Piri-Piri in the small mountain town of Monchique. It will take you less the an hour to get there. Alternative ways of exploring the Algarve are by joining one of the many jeeps that head out each day (high season) to explore the unspoilt Algarve. This is a great day out for the family and will pick up and drop off in the area. As Acoteias is ideally situated between Vilamoura and Albufeira there are plenty of great boat trips leaving from both Albufeira and Vilamoura marinas everyday. You can choose from a full or a half day and this can often include a trip into the caves and grottoes of the beautiful Algarvian coast line. If you fancy a drive into Spain then the border is only a 50 minute drive and Seville approx two hours (depending on traffic). Booking notes
A 25% deposit is required to make a reservation. The balance along with a refundable breakages/damages deposit of £150 is due 8 weeks before your date of arrival. Providing there is no damage or breakages this will be refunded on your day of departure. Cancellation charges are as follows: Up to 8 weeks - no cancellation charge 4 - 8 weeks - 50% of rate refunded 2 - 4 weeks - 25% of rate refunded Less than 2 weeks - no refund.
