Set amid orange groves on outskirts of a small village in a quiet, green valley, between Silves and Messines. Casa Ceramica offers totally secluded luxury with the best of stunning interiors, landscaped gardens and a private pool. Inside you will find 3 bedrooms, all en-suite, all of which have air-conditioning. A large dining room/lounge and kitchen. The cottage contains another 2 bedrooms, both with air-con and a shared bathroom. All beds, linen and towels are of outstanding quality and each bedroom/bathroom has a different design. The open kitchen/dining/lounge area is again tasteful, well equipped and cosy. The lounge has Satellite TV, DVD, CD/radio player and wood burning stove. This leads to a beautiful covered terrace overlooking the superb gardens and pool. There is a patio with outdoor BBQ/dining area. Set up for outdoor living, the gardens include a private pool with shades and poolside shower, a BBQ area with large dining table and chairs and an outdoor lounge.

Notes on prices
Prices are based on 4 persons per week (ask for special quote for your party) and exclude costs for A/C and heating. You pay what you use.
Our house is available for long winter lets, we have different price for this. Please enquire.
Changeover day
Our changeover day in high and mid season is Friday, you can arrive anytime you want, but the house will be ready around 3/4 pm. You can leave your luggage anytime and come back later. We ask that you depart around 10am. Low season is more flexible.

All towels and linen are included, mid week towel change, cleaning once a week when staying more then one week. |

Air-con units in every room, which is used as heating in the winter. Very suitable for children, we have a little playground for the children with swings. Property is fenced.

Outside
As the weather in Algarve is the main attraction, our outside areas are set up for outside living! With nice wooden furniture, big dining table overlooking pool area, with nice wooden lounges again, tropical cane parasols, nice lawns, various spaces to relax, read, eat, drink and enjoy the magnificent views!
Coast/Beach
Our villa is situated between Silves and SB de Messines. Long stretched white sandy beach between Armacoa de Pera and Gale/Albufeira is less then half an hour drive. Nice beaches surrounded by cliffs near Lagoa/Carvoeiro, less then half an hour drive. Beautiful beach situated in the bay of Ferragudo, close to Praia da Rocha, with children's playground; half an hour drive, plus 5 minutes more for the very popular beach of Praia da Rocha with lots of entertainment and very popular beach bars.
Golf
The amount of golf courses are growing in the Algarve, so in our area! Last couple of years at least 3 have opened their gates, all within 15/20 minutes drive. When you drive 30/40 minutes you are at all the famous golf courses the Algarve have! Think of Vilamoura, Vale de Lobo, and 'Penina' the oldest in golf course near Portimao.
Travel
Closest airport is Faro, 45 minutes drive away form our villa. Sevilla and Lisbon are 2.5 hours drive. Car hire is necessary, we have good contacts for car hire!
Distances
Our villa lies in a tiny little village, Gregorius, where you find the real life of Portugal. Farmers working every day in the field, picking oranges, growing vegetables and on daily basis the shepherd pass by! Close to the villa, less then 5 minutes drive is 'Vale Fuzeiros, a lively little village with 3 bars/restaurants, who serve very good meals, for prices you do not believe so cheap!
Further details
Shopping - 15 minutes drive to Silves for big supermarkets, open 7 days a week, from 9am till 10 pm. Or closer, SB de Messines, less then 10 minutes away, also open 7 days a week from 9am till 8pm. A nice shopping mall, is in Guia, near Albufeira, open till 12pm! Shop till you drop!
