The villa is in a semi rural location, set in its own grounds on a hill with spectacular views. The grounds contain orange, lemon, pomegranate, fig, almond olive and carob trees. Nearby beaches of Baril and Fuzeta are within easy reach by car and recommended for families. The Ria Formosa and the various islands can be reached by a short ferry ride at the port of Olhão - a must for all beach lovers. Local market in Olhão for fresh produce, such as fish fruit meat etc are held every morning except Sunday. The Rio Formosa Nature reserve with a working tidal mill, Portuguese water dog kennel, and birds galore is nearby. Restaurant in Brancanes is within 5 minutes walking distance. Very good steak etc at Carmo restaurant Quelfes. Olhao seafood restaurants overlooking the sea are well acclaimed. Faro has a beautiful old town and very good shopping mall, The Forum. Farmers markets are held in this area on 1st Sunday Fueseta, 2nd Sunday Estoi, and 4th Sunday Quelfes. 10 mins to golf.

First payment 50% on booking (non-refundable). Second payment 50% 6 weeks before arrival. Guarantee deposit 300 euros cash on arrival and refunded following a satisfactory final inspection.

Outside
Pool 10m x 4m which has spacious terraces and is fully equipped for sunbathing, lounging and enjoying the glorious views. Shower and toilet facilities are provided in this area also. Terraces overlooking the pool area are equipped with tables and chairs. Enjoy your meal alfresco and enjoy the peace and tranquility this villa offers. There is an additional pretty shaded area to the rear in addition to other shaded areas at the front. Very large covered built-in BBQ with table, chairs and umbrellas backing onto fruit trees. Separate independent steps to first floor at the rear.
Coast/Beach
Beautiful beaches of Baril and Fuzeta are within easy reach by car and recommended for families. The Ria Formosa and the various islands (Ilhas) can be reached by a short ferry ride or water taxi at the port of Olhão; a must for all beach lovers. The Algarve offers so many beaches, too numerous to mention. You will be spoilt for choice!
Golf
Golf is available only 10 mins away at the newly built Colina Verde 9 hole course, ideal for beginners and those who wish to practice their short game. The Benamor course near Tavira is about 20 mins way and boasts an 18 hole course. Quinta do Ria and Quinta do Cima, and the new Monte Rei Course are all within 30 mins drive. Please note if you wish to play golf you will need your handicap certificate (not required at Colina Verde) and soft spike shoes. Major courses to the East and West of the Algarve are only 30 mins away.
Skiing
Water skiing and other water sports are available at a lot of locations.
Travel
Faro airport is approx 20 mins away. The house has good access to the A22 motorway and EN125 (coastal road). This makes easy access to all tourist attractions, water parks, golf courses and Spain (30 mins). Car hire is recommended to fully appreciate the area. Local bus services 5 mins walk. Olhao train station 3 kms.
Distances
Villages of Quelfes and Brancanas are within easy walking distance and both provide local cafe/bars and mini markets. Olhao (3 kms) provides all major town facilites. The towns of Faro and Tavira are both a 20 min drive.
Booking notes
50% deposit on booking (non-refundable) and the remaining 50% balance paid 6 weeks before departure. 300 euros cash guarantee against damage, and must be paid on arrival. This will be returned after your stay subject to a final satisfactory inspection.
