We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and several of the wonders of Portugal are within easy reach. They include the medieval town of Obidos and the towns of Batalha, Fatima, Alcabaça and Sintra. The beautiful capital city of Lisbon is also only an hour away. The many attractions include the Castle of St George, churches and monasteries, interesting shopping areas and the Oceanario Sea Life Centre, one of the largest in Europe. If you are coming to Portugal to hunt for property, we will be able to offer you the benefit of our own experiences as well as other expats and locals, and hopefully make your experience a little easier. We are able to offer meals if required and occasional barbecue nights. These are not included in the tariffs, and can be booked at fairly short notice. We can also offer relaxing treatments including aromatherapy massage, reiki and reflexology. Again these can be arranged during your stay.

We are pleased to offer 2 spacious double rooms with built-in wardrobes, both of which are en-suite. Kettle in each room for tea and coffee.

We are able to offer meals if required and occasional barbecue nights.
Outside
There is a large south facing patio and plenty of seating capacity. We plan to have occasional BBQs for guests that would enjoy a change of venue for the evening.
Coast/Beach
The beach at Foz Do Arelho is a 25 min drive. It is the Atlantic entrance to the Obidos lagoon, and is all white sand and is really popular in the warmer months. The seafront cafes are friendly and cheap, and English is widely spoken. The beaches at Peniche are slightly further, but offer a vast expanse of soft sand which again is popular with sun seekers.
Golf
The famous golf course at Praia D'el Rei is only about 30 mins away, there are other courses within a similar distance that offer varying fees and challenges.
Special interest holidays
We are lucky to be reasonably close to the beaches of the area which are of interest to surfers and anglers. There are surfing lessons available for beginners and if fishing is what you want, we can help you get the necessary licence to stay legal.
Travel
Lisbon airport is about 1 hour by car and we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay.
Further details
There are several restaurants within a 10 min drive, or drive little further to find many great eating places in either Obidos or Caldas Da Rainha.
Booking notes
We require a deposit of 25% when a booking is placed. The balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. Please contact us regarding payment procedure, as it may differ in some countries. Sorry, but we have no credit card facilities.
