This beautiful modern villa sits in 20000 sq.m. of private land and 4000 sq.m. of irrigated landscaped garden and lawns. The tennis court is floodlit. 2 mosaic swimming pools can be heated (the smaller pool is for children). Facing the pool and to the east of it, is a secluded barbecue area, fully equipped with fridge, crockery and sink. There is a charming Portuguese girl who looks after the house, Adelaïde, she is responsible for the cleaning and of the garden. Adelaïde lives in a cottage in the grounds of the villa. The pool is serviced 2 times weekly by a pool cleaning company in Lagoa. The house is in the region of Carvoeiro (5 minutes' drive from the village centre). The nearest village is Benagil with its attractive beach and some good local restaurants (say a 20 minutes walk, 5 minutes drive). The nearest beach 5 minutes by car or 10 minutes walk, Praia do Carvalho (view of the sea at the 1st floor). Many golf courses are less than 30 mins drive. Property's management : English

Notes on accommodation
Heating of swimming pool is: 50 Euros/day. Heating each room, bathroom, living room by electric radiators: 6 Euros/days (November - March). Maid service (except cooking and baby-sitting) 5 hours/day, six days a week, is included in the renting price.

The very nice patio, all along the villa (with a beautiful screen of Bougainvilliers) is a nice place for relaxing out of the sun at the end of the afternoon and at night.
Very exceptional garden 4000 sq.m. with nice tropical grasses, palm trees, cypress, old carob tree, pine trees, olive trees, almond trees, belles de nuit and a lot of flowers at any season.
Coast/Beach
Carvoeiro is an old typical Portuguese fishing village with a lot of charm and nice atmosphere. Nice sandy beach in Carvoeiro and others places of the coast
Distance to the nearest beach: 300 m. We are very lucky to have just down the villa (5 mins walk) a very rare and intimate beach (Praia do Carvalho);
By car, 5 mins drive for Benagil or Centianes, (restaurant on the beaches).
Golf
Algarve is very well known as the paradise of golfers.
Many golf courses are less than 20 mins drive:
Carvoeiro: 36 H – Silves: 18 H – Morgado: 36 H – Salgados: 18 H – Palmares: 18 H – Penina championship: 27 H – etc.
All the golf of Villamoura (8 courses / 25 minutes) or Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago (8 courses / 30 minutes) and a lot of luxurious new courses on the east coast (1/2 hour).
Special interest holidays
Adelaïde, the charming Portuguese girl who looks after the house, can organise for you picnic by boat on a private beach with a private fisherman's boat and visit of grottoes). The name of this young man is Miguel. Don't forget visiting Monchique mountain and Punta de Sagres (the nearest point of America from the south of peninsula Iberica. More than 300 days of sun/year! In Portimao city, along the river, it is easy finding a boat chartered for going up the Arade river until the so nice city of Silves (10 km). At night go to the casinos of Villamoura or to the nightclubs of Albufeira.
Travel
Faro Airport is 49 km (35 minutes drive for the villa). There is a lot of car rental in Faro for inexpensive prices. You can rent a car in Carvoeiro too.
