This is a new property located 150m from the sea, with several beautiful beaches nearby. A 500m walk will bring you onto the beautiful and safe sandy beach of Areia Branca which has lifeguards in the summer months. The town of Areia Branca with restaurants, shops and a bank is 5 minutes away by car. Lourinha, the provincial capital is also a 5 minute drive away, where you can find supermarkets, shops and banks etc. Berlinga Island is a nature reserve (visible from the rear of the house) which can be visited by boat from Peniche. There is also an old fort on the island. Peniche is a fishing village famous for it's array of restaurants, is only 13km away. Here you will also find a super beach which is well known for windsurfing and an Aqua Park. Horse riding and go karting are also available in the area. The beach at Baleal is also nearby. This is a landmark beach for windsurfing and water sports. Canoeing on the Tejo at Constancia is another option.

Attic bedroom with twin beds plus additional bed settee and en-suite.
Bathrooms: Downstairs WC and wash hand basin.
En-suite to master bedroom with jacuzzi bath, shower, WC, basin and bidet.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a bathroom with shower, WC and basin.
Bedroom 4 has a small bath, shower, WC and basin.
Kitchen: The modern kitchen has lovely sea views and is fully equipped with all mod cons with hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is lots of storage space and a small utility room off the kitchen.
Utility Room: Small utility room suitable for airing and drying clothes. A clothes horse, iron and ironing board are provided.
Living Rooms: Sitting/Diining room is a very spacious and luxurious room with French doors leading onto the patio and out to the pool area. There is a large corner suite with a coffee table and a dining table which can accommodate up to 8 people. TV, DVD and CD units.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
The house will be cleaned before your arrival. Towels and bed linen are included in the rental. Towels are for house use only please. Fresh linen and towels are supplied weekly.

 

Notes on accommodation
The house has central heating throughout and a wood burning fireplace in the lounge area which keeps the house very cosy in winter months. There are beautiful south facing balconies with super sea views on the first and second floors. There are also excellent sea views from all the windows on the rear of the house. The living area leads directly on to a patio area which overlooks the 2 pools and also has great sea views. There is a full size tennis court, available to residents only, in the complex. There is a secure underground garage with direct access to the living area. The house has all mod cons for an enjoyable stay.

Accessibility
Access to the house is either by steps to the front door or up a flight of stairs from the garage. The front door opens into a hallway leading to the spacious lounge / dining areas. The kitchen and utility room are located here in addition to a bathroom. There is a flight of stairs to the first floor where 3 bedrooms are located and a further flight of stairs to the 4th bedroom.

Outside
There are lovely gardens around the complex. The house has a south facing patio looking on to the pool area with great sea views. Guests can relax in this area on the patio furniture. There are 2 further balconies overlooking the pool area and also enjoying the same super sea views. French doors lead on to the patio and out to the pool area and tennis court. Tennis rackets and balls for use of guests in the complex are provided. There are 2 shared pools to enjoy. The smaller is suitable for tots and the larger pool is suitable for the bigger children and adults. There is an extensive sunbathing area around the pools.

Coast/Beach
Areia Branca 10 mins walk. Peniche 20 mins. Baleal 20 mins. Numerous more beaches within 45 mins drive.

There are numerous top class golf courses nearby;
Termas do Vimeiro, Peniche, 20km.
Prai del Rei Peniche championship course, 20km.
Campo Real, Torres Vedras, 23km.
Golden Eagle Rio Maior, 51km.

Lisbon International Airport is approx 50 mins away by car
Faro and Oporto airports are approx 3 hours drive away.

Distances
Lisbon, capital city of Portugal is a very accessible and beautiful city. It is 75km from the property. Obidos, a world heritage site with narrow cobbled streets, old walls, and numerous art type shops is 30km away. Caldas da Rainha is a good shopping town with daily markets and is 36km from the house.

Further details
There is a very helpful tourist office in Lourinha. Although there is a good bus service from Lisbon to the area, car hire is reccommended. Our excellent property manager, Nathalie, is fluent in several languages and will be available to meet guests when they arrive and help with any queries that may arise during the stay.

Booking notes
To book, please check availability by email. A deposit of 20% of the booking is required at time of booking. Full payment is required 8 weeks prior to arrival. A damage deposit of 150 euros will be added to the final payment - this will be refunded after your departure from the property (subject to a satisfactory property inspection).
