The apartment is non-smoking and there is a full size, double pull-down bed with thick fully sprung mattress in the lounge offering comfortable accommodation for 4 people. There is a spacious, furnished terrace with views and access to a beautifully maintained communal garden. Set within the heart of this exclusive resort, all amenities are accessible within a short walk. Visitors to our apartment also benefit from complimentary membership of the 5* Barringtons Sport club with free use of indoor and outdoor pools, gymnasium, squash courts, sauna and steam room (only a few minutes walk from the apartment). The beach and resort centre (Praca) with its multitude of bars, shops and restaurants is a pleasant 10 minute stroll away.

Notes on accommodation
This ground floor, non-smoking, self-catered apartment is ideal for familes with young children. The enclosed, spacious terrace provides a safe outdoor space for them to play. There are a few steps leading from the lounge to the bedroom area but there is a door that can be closed. Cot and highchair available (local charge) and a microwave steriliser is also available.

Accessibility

Outside
The spacious, furnished terrace has a private outlook and backs onto beautifully maintained communal gardens. Ideal for alfresco dining. Guests have free access to three communal swimming pools - An outdoor pool at the Vale do Lobo tennis centre, An outdoor and indoor pool at the members only Barringtons Health club (only a few minutes walk from the apartment).
Coast/Beach
The beach is either a 5 minute drive or 10-15 minutes stroll amongst the Vale do Lobo golf courses. Free parking is available at the beach.
Golf
The apartment is situated on the prestigious Vale do Lobo resort which has two championship golf courses, the Royal and Ocean courses. Handicap certificates are required and the use of golf buggies compulsory (green fees and buggy hire payable locally). The complimentary Barringtons membership entitles guests to significant discounts at many local golf courses and also the facilities at the Vale do Lobo golf centre. For the ladies (and men!), Vale do Lobo has the fantastic Royal Spa.
Travel
Vale do Lobo is approximately 20 mins from Faro Airport. A taxi from the airport is approximately 30 euros.
Distances
The town of Almancil is less than 10 mins drive. Almancil has many shops, banks, supermarkets and a pharmacy.
Further details
There is a supermarket, car hire and cash machines available within the Vale do Lobo resort. In Almancil, there is a large supermarket, Apolonia (closed on Sundays), which stocks many UK brands.
Booking notes
Booking secured with 50% deposit with balance due 8 weeks prior to start of rental. An additional, returnable breakages deposit of £150 is payable for all rentals where the guests are < 25 years.
