Changeover day
Fully flexible depending on flight times. We ask you vacate the property by 11am to allow it to be cleaned and ready for next guests arriving at 3pm. During off peak times 3/4 day rentals will be considered.

Living Rooms: Large lounge with patio doors and fireplace. Two large sofas, one of which is a double sofa bed. The lounge comprises a TV with Freeview and DVD/CD player.
Other: 2 car garage situated under the house. Electric gate entry into condominium. Entry phone system. Large brick BBQ in rear patio. Patio furniture and sunloungers. 15m x 6m pool shared between nine houses.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Property cleaned and linen changed weekly with an interval clean for 2 week bookings. Towels and linen provided but not for beach use. Midweek cleaning available at an additional charge. The property has central heating.

Accessibility
The approach to the house is level. There is a ground floor shower room and sofa bed in the living room. A stair gate is available for families with young children.

Outside
There is a large patio to the front which has a table and chairs. There is also a large patio to the rear which views onto farmland. Here there is a brick built BBQ as well as a large table and chairs. Balconies are at both the front and rear of the property. There is a shared pool (between nine houses) which also has room for sunbathing. Loungers are provided at the house should anyone wish to sunbath in the patio area.

Coast/Beach
The beach at Sao Martinho do Porto is only 2km away. The AA Essential Guide voted it one of the top 10 beaches to visit in Portugal. It's vast sweep of sand curls around an almost land locked bay to form a natural swimming pool. This shelter makes it one of the warmest and safest places to swim on the coast, making it ideal for families. Foz do Arelho, with some wonderful views (and excellent for watersports) is 10 minutes by car. Nazare, a livier resort, is a 20 minute drive.

Golf
The highly acclaimed Praia D'el Rey golf course is approx 25 minutes by car. It has recently been voted 'European golf resort of the year 2007' at the IAGTO Awards. Several other golf courses are within 45 minutes drive from the house.

Special interest holidays
There are many other outdoor activities that you can enjoy within this area of Portugal; watersports, mountain biking, walking, potholing.

Travel
Lisbon Airport is approx 1 hour by car (Monarch, Easyjet, TAP, BA). Oporto Airport is approx 2 1/2 hours drive (Ryanair). Faro Airport is approx 3 1/2 hours drive.

Distances
The village in which the house is situated (Alfeizerao) offers a small number of shops and cafes as well as a bank and pharmacy. It also has a small supermarket. Sao Martinho do Porto (beach, many restaurants, banks and coffee shops) - 2km. The medieval town of Obidos is 15 minutes by car. Caldas da Rainha offers daily markets and is a bustling town of circa 50,000 people. This is 15 minutes by car. The historic towns of Alcobaca and Batalha are 30 minutes drive away.
