Our newly built villa which was completed in spring 2007, sits in an elavated position overlooking the picturesque village of Miranda do Corvo and the hills beyond. The villa sits on a quiet road with woodlands to the rear providing spacious and comfortable accommodation in a tranquil setting. The property has a secure gated entrance with ample parking for several cars and has a private pool as well as its own fully equipped bar, plus five large bedrooms. Local amenities including restaurants, supermarkets, bakery and train station are a short five minute drive away.

Changeover day
Changeover days are on Saturdays, this is flexible. Please email for availability. Arrival times are after 4pm on day of arrival and the villa is to be vacated at 10am on day of departure.

| Kitchen: | Open plan, fully equipped kitchen and dining area includes breakfast bar, family sized dining table, dishwasher, microwave and an American style fridge-freezer with cold water and ice dispenser. Double doors open from the kitchen onto a large veranda. |
| Utility Room: | This room includes washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes horses, iron and ironing board for all your laundry needs. |
| Living Rooms: | Large lounge area with corner sofa and large wood burning fire. Big television with English Sky TV as well as a good selection of books, DVDs and board games, as well as a Playstation 2 with lots of games. |
| Other: | Bar. This unique room includes sink, optics, 2 fridges, dart board, TV, bar stools and additional table and chairs. With double doors opening out onto the pool area, this room is a great place to socialise and entertain family and friends. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bedlinen and bathroom towels are provided and will be changed for stays of more than one week. The villa and pool will also be cleaned weekly. |

The property has central heating which will be supplied in the winter months for a period of 2 hours in the day and 2 hours in the night, plus 2 wood burning fires and electric radiators can be supplied.

Accessibility
Our home has double entrance doors and 2 downstairs bedrooms and a large downstairs bathroom with separate shower cubicle, the kitchen is located upstairs.
Outside
The swimming pool is 9m x 4m in size with integral steps at the shallow end. The pool is for your exlusive use and is located in a secluded spot by the side of the villa. Pool side loungers, umbrellas and pool toys including rubber rings and child's float and arm bands are all available for your use. There are lights in the pool for those adventurous enough to take a mid-night dip. Archery equipment is available for use within the grounds as well as a ping-pong table.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach to the villa is Figueira Da Foz which is about an hours drive away. There are other beaches like Nazare which are further down the coast towards Lisbon, well worth a visit.
Travel
You can reach the villa by either Lisbon or Porto airport, they are similar in journey time approximately 1hr 45 minutes away. Car hire is essential as the villa is set in a quiet village. There is a very good railway link to Coimbra from both airports taking about 90 minutes, it costs roughly 20 euros and the trains are very clean, a very relaxing way to travel.
Distances
The nearest town to the villa is Miranda Do Corvo, a short five minute drive away. Here you can find restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, cinema, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, horse riding centre, post office, tourist office. The University town of Coimbra, Portugal's third largest city is approximately 30 minutes by car. Here you will find 2 large shopping centres, a selection of restaurants, bars, cinemas and bowling as well as more quaint streets and lanes selling local produce and gifts.
Booking notes
Please check the calendar for availabilty, contact us and we will send you a booking form and terms and conditions. A deposit of £150 is required to secure the booking and the balance is due 8 weeks before the arrival date. We also ask for a security bond should any damage occur during your stay in the villa.
