Notes on accommodation
The villa is fully air-conditioned throughout (included in rental price). Satellite system throughout with flat screen TV's. DVD players. IPad / IPhone docking station. Internet acess / free wifi. Piped sound system throughout the entire villa and outside terrace plus gazebo area with another BBQ/open fire place. Double garage. Large storage and laundry room. Alarm system. Built in safes. Basement with games room and TV room with pool table and soccer table. Also in basement a Turkish bath with shower and fully equipped gymnasium plus a sauna.

Outside
Two large remote opened electric entrance. Extended, fully enclosed garden (5.000 sq m) up to 40 m from the sea, with mature palm trees and ancient olive trees. Plenty of lawn areas. An al fresco breakfast area on the east-facing BBQ terrace next to the kitchen. Private swimming pool (13x6.5m).The poolwater is non chlorinated and comes from a natural well. A charming pool side gazebo with spectacular views towards the ocean, pool with a real on "top of the Ocean feel". Lounging and sitting area with comfortable mattresses and pillows. A separate outside toilet room. The pool-side gazebo is equipped with a BBQ/open fire place and bar facilities. Surrounded by ample lawn area. Outside hot- and cold shower. 200sqm of pool terrace with luxurious sun-lounges with super comfortable mattresses and large sun shades.
Coast/Beach
A private gate (40 meters from the sea) on the cliff tops leads to a virtually unknown secluded beach at approx 400m. Several small coved beaches in near vicinity. The cliff top nature area allowing for beautiful cliff top walks or mountain bike rides along the coast. Carvoeiro centre beach 2km. In the direct area several public beaches are accessible, also the small beautiful rocky ( low-tide only) beache of Vale do Lapa being within 15 minuten walking distance.
Golf
The villa is 5 minutes away from the well known Pestana golf Resort containing two 18 holes courses Gramacho and Vale do Pinta. Also nearby is the David Leadbetter golf academy with driving range. 21 other golf courses within an hour's drive; Parque Floresta, Boa Vista, Palmares, Penina, Salgado, Silves Pestana, Balaia, Pinecliffs, Vilamoura, Vale de Lobo, Quinta do Lago, San Lourenzo.......
Travel
Quinta do Ra is situated 45 minutes driving from Faro airport and near Carvoeiro (3 km) which is a lovely fishing village(town) which has become popular during recent years, but still retains its local charm. There are four lovely sandy beaches.
Good restaurants and shops abound, for all tastes and pockets and there are plenty of friendly bars. Nearest restaurant 500 meters away with typical Portuguese food and ambiance.

Lisbon 2 hours drive. Spanish border 1.5 hour's drive.

50% upon booking. 50% three months before arrival date. Payments non refundable. Cancellation insurance recommended. 4 bedrooms sleeps 8 persons maximum.
Guest comments
This luxery and confortable new villa is being rented out for the first time in the year 2008.
Most of the guests have re-booked for the following years.
2010 and 2011 were fully booked.
