This well-equipped and luxurious apartment enjoys one of the best locations on the Gramacho Golf Course. To the rear, there are views of the 14th tee and to the front, from the balcony and lounge, you can see the 18th fairway of the course and the Monchique mountains in the distance. Tennis courts and a bowling green sit adjacent to the property and the clubhouse, with its restaurant, well-stocked golf shop and communal swimming pool a short walk away. In front of the apartment there are gardens and a shared swimming pool. Within the Pestana Golf Resort complex, there is the Pestana (formerly David Leadbetter) Golf Academy and two championship golf courses, Gramacho and Pinta; both have hosted European Tour events. A new course has been constructed in nearby Silves and all of the Algarve's many courses are within easy driving reach of the apartment. Carvoeiro, with its restaurants, beaches, cafes and shops is a ten minute drive/taxi journey away.

Accessibility
The apartment has a set of stairs up to it, with no ramp or lift access.
Outside
The shared pool has a patio area surrounding it with loungers and tables available. A hedge surrounds the pool area giving privacy.
Coast/Beach
Around Carvoeiro there are many beaches - some quiet and some busier. You will need a car to get to them. The nearest is about a ten minute drive from the apartment.
Golf
Gramacho Golf Course is adjacent and has hosted a European Tour Ladies event. Pinta Golf course is about one mile from the apartment and regularly hosts the European Seniors Tour qualifying event. Silves Golf Course is 10 miles from the apartment and is a new development. The Algarve has many championship golf courses and Carvoeiro is well-placed about 45 minutes to the west of Faro by car.
Travel
Faro Airport is 40 miles from the apartment and a good motorway connects the two towns. Car hire is recommended, especially if you want to be able to explore. However, a good shared taxi service is also available from the airport. The nearest 'big' town is Portimao from where trains go to Lisbon and along the Algarve.

Further details
Slide and Splash Water Park is nearby. There is a well-stocked shop at the main gate. It has British newspapers from around midday. There are two bigger supermarkets - one just outside Carvoeiro on the road to Lagoa and the other on the road to the motorway from the apartment. All are well-stocked with food and drink. There is an ATM at the Gramacho club house. In Carvoeiro there are shops and restaurants. Within the apartment, you will find recommendations.
Booking notes
Please phone us at number below for availability. A 25% deposit secures the booking and we would expect the balance to be paid eight weeks in advance of your arrival date. 25% deposit is non-refundable from 12 weeks in advance of your arrival date. The balance is non-refundable from 8 weeks in advance of your arrival date. However, in the event of our re-letting the apartment, we will refund the payments in full for the dates we manage to re-let.
