Villa Colina Rio is a 12 bedroom villa situated in the attractive fishing village of Ferragudo, just minutes drive from the nearest beach. The villa boasts a private swimming pool, sun terraces, pool bar and a small garden with lawns. Entrance hall with a guest bathroom and comfortable suite is leading into the sitting-dining area with large screen TV/English channels, fire place, couches and 5 dining tables. The doors open onto the large sun terrace with stunning views of Marina do Portimão and Ferragudo harbour with boats. Fully equipped kitchen. All rooms situated on 5 levels have air-conditioning, TV, safe and balcony. There is a bar with spacious sitting area, 2 WCs on the pool level. Maid service four times a week. Private parking.

Coast/Beach
The Algarve is famous for its beaches and coastline and you will find a quiet stretch of beach just a short drive from your villa. Praia Grande with park and restaurants, children's play ground is only 1,5 km away but to walk there you have to be really fit. Praia dos Caneiros is another nice beach with restaurant/snack bar. Sun beds and sunshades are available in summer and there is a kiosk selling fruit and ice creams. Carvoeiro with its famous beaches are just short drive away.
Golf
Gramacho and Pinta golf courses is 5 min drive away, Alvor golf is 10 min drive and many more golf courses can be found within short drive.
Special interest holidays
The coastal village resort retains its charm and tranquility and yet boasts numerous bars, restaurants and shops ensuring a busy atmosphere (but not too noisy) in the warm evenings. The beach is just a couple of minutes drive and is rated as one of the best on the Algarve and if you are looking for activities Praia Grande has jet skis, water skiing and numerous other water sports available. Also there are water parks and the marine zoo nearby. A short journey away is the larger and more lively resort of Praia da Rocha, top location overlooking the largest stretch of sand in the Algarve. The promenade has a wide selection of shops and boutiques to suit everyone's taste. At night the resort comes alive with an array of bars and nightlife along the 'strip'. For those who are feeling lucky, why not have a flutter in the casino?
Travel
Faro airport is 65km away. Airport transfers and car hire can be arranged on request. We supply directions to the villa and meet you at the villa on your arrival.
Further details
Many restaurants and bars are within walking distance from the villa. Supermarket is 1 km away. The village is famous with its fish restaurants situated along the harbour where you can enjoy your fresh grilled fish and watch fishing boats passing by.
Booking notes
A deposit of 20% is necessary to confirm a booking. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival date. On arrival a refundable security deposit of 500 euros will be charged against breakages. This deposit is held against any damage or breakages incurred during the rental period and will be returned on departure providing no breakages have occurred.
