Just 2 minutes walk from shops, bars and restaurants, the Old Course is also nearby and it is a pleasant 15-20 minute walk or a short drive to the beach and marina. The flexible sleeping arrangements comfortably accommodate up to six adults. Air conditioning, satellite TV and wireless broadband internet access. Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning, satellite TV, local telephone and broadband internet access. Ideal for golfers. Young families are very well provided for with use of a highchair, cot and bed linen, potty, changing mat, sun tent, children's chairs, pushchair (6 months plus), group 1 car seat and toys.
Accessibility
There is a lift from the underground car park to all floors and a ramp to the main door of the building. There is a handrail to aid access to the bath. The walk to the Marina and beach is flat and very pleasant.
Outside
Landscaped gardens, large shared pool and children's pool with loungers and parasols. Tennis court - we provide rackets and balls.
Coast/Beach
Both Vilamoura town beach and Stunning Falesia Beach are just a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive away. There are dozens more beautiful beaches within a short drive.
Golf
The apartment is within walking distance of the Old Course and the Pinhal course and there are four further courses a short drive away. There is also a golf academy and a driving range nearby. Discounted games can be booked at the Tee Times golf shop just 2 minutes walk from the apartment.
Travel
Faro airport is a 25 minute drive. We can arrange transfers for you, including child car seats.
Distances
Supermarket, restaurants, pubs, cafes, golf booking shop and hairdressers 2 minutes walk. Bowling green and crazy golf 10 minutes walk. 15-20 minute walk / 5 minute drive to the centre of Vilamoura, marina and beaches. Taxis cost approx. 4 Euros. The Vilamoura road train stops outside of the complex providing easy access to the whole resort and great fun for the kids!
Further details
Watersports, fishing, scuba diving and boat trips are all available at the Marina. Horse riding, go-karting, shopping malls, historical sights, vineyards and several water parks/theme parks are all located within a short drive of Vilamoura. The Rio Formosa Natural Park is just south of Faro.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. The final balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival and a refundable security deposit of £200 is required before your holiday.

Arthur's first trip to Vilamoura!
About the owner
We are June, Sonia and Phil and we bought the apartment in September 2007. Sonia and Phil live in Surrey. Phil is a telecoms engineer and Sonia works part time as an editor on a puzzles magazine. Baby Arthur arrived in February 2010 and is already a big fan of the Algarve! June is Sonia's mum. She lives in Northamptonshire but works for Network Rail in London.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We visited the Algarve for a family holiday to celebrate June's 50th birthday and had a wonderful time so when we decided to take the plunge and invest in a holiday rental apartment, Vilamoura seemed an obvious choice.
Phil already enjoyed playing golf so he was impressed by the amazing choice of courses on offer and June is now having lessons so she can join in the fun.
We all love the great beaches and the friendly atmosphere in the Marina.
Unique benefits of the property
Since buying the apartment we have especially come to love the family-run A Carpa restaurant around the corner for its delicious, great value meals and friendly staff and we also enjoy the occasional session of karaoke at Parky's bar! With a supermarket, cafes and a golf booking agency also just 2 minutes walk away we often find we have no need to venture much further than the end of the road while enjoying a relaxing break. We've made the sure the apartment is really well kitted out for young families as we know how hard it is to travel with kids.
