Burgau village has traditional houses, small shops, ample bars and restaurants. Sloped cobbled streets lead down to the lovely sandy beach.
The attractive town of Lagos, 10 min drive away, has a wide variety of shops, bars/restaurants, historic buildings, a marina and nightlife. Golf lovers are well served with 2 renowned courses within 5 miles, Parque da Floresta and Boa Vista. Palmares and Penina Golf are within 10 miles.

Bedlinen and towels included. Maid service 4 times weekly. Bedlinen changed weekly. Beach towels not provided.

The house is fully air-conditioned, with heating system for cooler low season nights. There is no extra charge for air-conditioning or heating. Please take extra care with children near the swimming pool.

Coast/Beach
The village of Burgau is located on the edge of an extensive natural park with miles and miles of stunning coastline stretching westwards to Cape St. Vincent (also known as World's End), numerous beaches, coves and wonderful cliff walks.
You can view the entire coastline of Costa Vincentina from the Monchique Mountains a little inland. The area is rich in flora and fauna and a great many bird species, including eagles can be seen.

Golf
There are more than 20 prime golf courses within an hour's drive from the house, and 2 exceptional courses, Parque da Floresta Golf and Boa Vista Golf are within 10 minutes drive. Palmares Links Course is about 15 minutes drive with Penina Golf a little further away.

Travel
Faro Airport is a straightforward 1 hour's driving, mostly on motorway. While a car is not necessary, it would allow you to explore the wonderful local countryside and superb coastline.

Distances
Faro is a 1 hour's drive. Lagos is approximately 10 minutes drive. Praia da Luz is 5 minutes drive. Burgau village is 3 minutes walk.

Further details
There is a variety of small shops, gift shops, and a few small supermarkets in the village and an ATM. The village has a good selection of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets!

Deposit of 200 euros required to secure a booking. Balance payable 8 weeks before arrival. Payments can be made by VISA/MasterCard or bank transfer.

The price includes electricity, air conditioning, bedlinen, house towels, maid service and cot, if required. There are no extra charges.
