A beautiful 2 double bedroom ground floor apartment, acquired 12 months ago but have recently redecorated and had air con system installed. Ideally located in the privately owned Old Village Condominium. This apartment is located right at the entrance of the main pool and has a large private south facing sun terrace with patio furniture. The Old Village is uniquely designed based on 18th century Portuguese architecture - a mix of rustic and traditional styles with pastel coloured buildings and cobbled walkways. These exclusive apartments are all privately owned and surrounded by landscaped gardens. The Old Village is free from traffic and surrounded by the exclusive fairways of the Pinhal golf course. There are 3 swimming pools, the main pool is ideal for young children, the dolphin pool is ideal for older children and the princess gardens pool is ideal for adults. There are 2 pool bars, coffee/breakfast shop, 2 licensed bars and supermarket with fresh bread delivered daily.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. We understand that guests will want to use days other than Sat or Sun for cheaper flights etc. If your changeover day is a Sun unfortunately we may have to charge an additional fee for the cleaning and laundry, Please contact us for your quote. We also offer a discount for long winter lets. Please contact us for a quote. Also golfers who wan to go away early in the year.

Changeover day
As mentioned previously, we try to be flexible regarding changeover days and prefer that arrivals are after 4.00pm and departure before 10.00am. This is purely to assist the cleaners with their schedule.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with double bed and built in wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bedroom 2 with twin beds and a double wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bathrooms: The bathroom consists of 1 bath with shower over, a basin and WC. The bathroom has been refurbished last year, all items in the bathroom including the tiles are in excellent condition.
Kitchen: The kitchen has a large work space, a cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine and a microwave.
Living Rooms: The lounge/dining room has cable TV, 2 comfortable sofas, (one doubles as a bed if required), coffee table etc. The patio doors in the lounge/dining room lead out to a large enclosed patio with a 2 seater settee and dining table and chairs.
Other: Although the apartment does not advertise facilities for the very young, e.g. high chairs, cots etc, if required, we will be more than happy to arrange this for you upon request.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and bedlinen are supplied. The property has a towel and bedlinen change once a week. However the frequency can be changed if you wish.

 

Notes on accommodation
The Old Village is especially suited to families and golfers alike. The Portuguese are very friendly and very family orientated. The apartments are all pastel coloured on cobbled streets, the whole area is very unusual and very pretty. The Old Village Condominium keep the open areas maintained to a very high standard. The apartment can boast that it is in one of the prime locations in the 'village'.

Outside
There is a large private covered patio area outside the apartment which families use when having meals or taking a break from the sun. It is in a great location because you can use the patio but you are still close enough to the pool and bar to still feel a part of it.

Coast/Beach
Vilamoura beaches and marina are approx 1km walk away (10 mins walk).

Golf
The 'Old Village' is surrounded by many spectacular Golf Courses, The Old Course, Pinhal, Laguna, Millenium, Victoria etc.

Travel
The 'Old Village' is approx 20 mins from Faro Airport and taxis are easily accessible and inexpensive.

Distances
Aqua Park 3 mins drive. Vilamoura Marina 10 mins walk.
Quarteira 5 mins drive. Almancil 10 mins drive. Vale do Lobo 15 mins drive. Quinta da Lago 10 mins drive. Albufeira - 20 mins drive. Zoo Marine 30 mins drive.

Further details
There are a number of fun parks nearby, water parks, a zoo, and zoo marine. Vilamoura beach and marina are approx 1km walk away. The marina is very impressive there are many very good restaurants, general shops, a number of designer stores. At the back of the marina there is a Casino. Boat trips, paragliding and other water sports can also be booked at the marina. There is a very well stocked supermarket on the complex.
