The fourth bedroom has a bathroom beside it. 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are on the first floor with their own balconies. The remaining 2 (one en-suite) are on the ground floor with access to the front garden and the pool area. The kitchen is built to a very high standard and has views to the front of the property overlooking the quiet cul-de sac. The large basement has two extra beds if required and a games area including pool and table tennis. This makes an ideal area for children to pass the time if required. The villa is a 10 minute walk from the beach, and there is a communal area in Vale do Garrao that includes 2 tennis courts, a large pool, a toddlers pool and a large grassed area.

Outside
There is a private patio area to the rear of the property, which is a real sun trap, an 8m x 4metre heated pool, a shower and BBQ area. The villa is surrounded by grass and shrubs.
Coast/Beach
Quinta do Lago is a spectacular unspoiled area of over 1700 acres of natural pine forest, grassland and lakes. The area includes part of the Ria Formosa nature reserve and is fronted by a 10km stretch of golden sands. On the lake there are sailing, a windsurfing school and watersports. There are several routes to the beach but the most memorable is across a long wooden bridge across the nature reserve; on the other side is a good restaurant, golden dunes and a very long beach.
Golf
There are 4 golf courses in Quinta do Lago and 2 more in the adjoining area of Vale de Lobo, and one at Pineiros Altos. Most of these courses are Championship quality and all are within a 5 minute drive.
Travel
The nearest airport is Faro and is approx 8 miles away or a 15 drive.
Distances
The villa is a convenient drive from Faro airport, and Almancil and all the local attractions including golf, tennis, horse riding and several beaches.
Almancil 5km. Quinta do Lago 1km. Beach 8 min walk. Bougainvillea Plaza 3km (shops and restaurants).
Further details
Almancil is a traditional Portuguese small town with a good selection of shops and restaurants. In the market town of Loule, a short drive up towards the hills, there is a traditional Portuguese market on Saturday morning. The Algarve is blessed with superb beaches, unspoilt countryside and countless restaurants for alfresco eating. For the sporting minded there is a wealth of activities such as watersports and sailing, tennis and world renowned golf courses. With more sunshine hours than anywhere else in Europe, clean air and sea and a pleasant variation in the seasons, the Algarve climate closely resembles that of California.
