Both apartments are fully air-conditioned/heated well equipped apartments and furnished to a really high standard,providing a comfortable home with everything you need for a lovely holiday. Ideally situated in the Quinta da Gomeira development both are 2 mins. From the village and seafront.The 1 bed apartment is situated adjacent to one of the 4 swimming pools/garden areas on the complex that are security gated for residents only. The 2 bed apartment is situated in one of the best positions on the front of the development facing the gardens. Within the complex there is a toddlers play park, O' Escalho cafébar/bakery(with free WiFi access) the Cabanas Brasserie restaurant and a laundry. A short stroll takes you to the village and waterfront where numerous cafes + restaurants provide a wide range of dishes at very reasonable prices. The wonderful beach of Cabanas can be reached by a 2 minute ferry boat ride across the lagoon. Also very well situated for bus/train/taxis.

Notes on prices
The 2 x bedroom prices shown are for 2 x people per week,prices are also available for 3,4,5 & 6 persons.
Prices are for the properties/week in UK Pounds, we will also accept payment in Euros this will have to be agreed at the time of booking.
Discounts are available for long winter lets.
Shorts stays are also possible - prices on request.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible, vacate apartments by 11am on day of departure (if there are no incoming guests this can be extended).

This spacious 1 bedroom apartment is very well furnished and equipped to a high standard and has air conditioning/heating. It has an open plan lounge with a double sofa bed, recliner chair, UK satellite TV, DVD Stereo CD/ radio system a selection of CD's and DVD's, Dining table/chairs and Ceiling fan. There is a fully fitted kitchen with cooker, extractor fan, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, iron/ironing board, drying facilities, microwave, kettle, toaster, juicer, ample crockery/cutlery and cooking utensils. The bedroom has twin beds with bedside cabinet, a mirror with shelf and hairdryer + fitted wardrobes. The bathroom has full suite with bath/shower, illuminated vanity unit, toilet and bidet + storage cupboards. The entrance hall has a fitted wardrobe with a digital safe, also fitted storage cupboards with pool chairs and books etc. Beach and rain brollies also provided. Ideal for couples/young families.

It is situated on the front of the development facing gardens with good size south facing balcony.The lounge has a good quality sofa bed and chairs, UK Sky Digital TV, DVD, CD/radio stereo, selection of CDs + DVDs, ceiling fans,Dining table and chairs. The bedrooms are both furnished to a High standard. The 1st one has a double bed, bedside cabinets, mirrors, hairdryer, fitted wardrobes and digital safe. The 2nd bedroom has twin beds,fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinet, mirror, shelf and hairdryer. Bathroom has full suite with bath/shower and illuminated vanity unit. Fully fitted kitchen with cooker/extractor fan, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, juicer, crockery/cutlery, cooking utensils, iron/ironing board, cool box/bags. Notes on accommodation
1 bedroom apartment has got security shutters to all windows/patio doors. Telephone entry system. It is a raised ground floor apartment (5 steps) suitable for all generations. The air conditioning also doubles as heating during the winter months making it ideal for longer winter lets. There is also a ceiling fan fitted in the lounge. Travel cot and highchairs can be provided. Selection of books, games, CDs and DVDs to suit both young and old.
2 bedroom apartment also has security shutters to all doors & windows + mosquito blinds for extra peace of mind.The air conditioning can also be used for heating during the winter months.
The apartment is child friendly having screening fitted on the balcony rails + childrens play area near apartment.
A selection of books, games, CDs & DVDs to suit young & old + travel cot, highchair & pushchair if needed.
A video entrance system is also installed.

Accessibility
In the 1 bedroom entrance hall there are 5 internal steps leading to the apartment door once inside it is all on one level.
The 2 bedroom has stairs up to the 1st floor.

Outside
The 1 bedroom apartment looks out over the quiet swimming pool/garden area, access is gained by swipe card for use of property owners and guest's (2 x chairs provided in apartment). There are 4 shared pools in total, all kept to a high standard,the depth is 0.8 to 1.6 metres with steps at the shallow end. The 2 bedroom apartment is in one of the best positions at the front of the development with a sunny south facing balcony with views looking towards the village.This gets sun all day & its a great place to just chill out & watch the sun go down.

Coast/Beach
Both apartments are only a 2 minute walk from the waterfront where the new boardwalk spans the full length of the seafront allowing you to stroll or sit in comfort. During the season local fishing boats will take you across the lagoon for approx.1.20 euros return to the beautiful unspoilt beach of Cabanas. Sun beds and parasols can be hired and there is a beach bar. A short drive takes you to Manta Rota where you can park and walk onto the beach and there are more lovely places along the coast.

Golf
2 sets of golf clubs are available for our guests to use free of charge, all we ask is if any equipment is damaged etc an agreed price to replace it is paid. Benamor golf club is situated off the N125 roundabout just up the road from the apartments and there are 4 other golf courses all within an easy drive from Cabanas. All equipment can be hired locally if required.

Special interest holidays
The area is ideal for walking/bird spotting/cycling, various water sports, equipment can all be hired locally. There is a coastal cycle path which is great to follow (cycling or walking) and the wildlife you encounter along here can be stunning.

Travel
Faro airport is about 35km / 40 mins drive by taxi/car. You can get a shuttle bus from the airport into Faro then a bus or train to Cabanas (under 5 Euros/person). A transfer shuttle bus direct to the resort can now also be booked online and this costs about 8 euros per person each way. A car is handy but not necessary as the bus and train services can take you all over the Algarve and over into Spain. Seville Airport is another option and is about 140km / 90 mins drive.

Further details
Along the promenade a new walkway has been constructed + the road made into a one way system so along with the recently built marina the waterfront has a really nice cosmopolitan look. You can get ferry boats to the superb Atlantic beach during the summer months from 07.00 till 1900 hours, it costs just over 1 euro return. The 3 kilometre long sandy beach is never overcrowded and has a cafe/bar, you can also hire different water sports equipment and is ideal for walking or just chilling out. During the winter months there is a limited boat service to the main beach, you obtain tickets at the nearby Pedras da Rainha reception. The boat times are 10.00, 12.00, 1400, 16.00 and catch it at the Golden Club beach. The local bus and train services are ideal to get to different places on the Algarve and to Spain and are well priced as are the local taxis. The cafe bars and restaurants are all excellent in their own ways and offer good local & international cuisine at very reasonable prices. The O'Escalho cafebar/bakery on the complex is run by a lovely local family serving lunches, snacks and evening meals and is good to go in anytime of day + free WiFi.
In the village you will find the indoor market selling fresh produce meat/fish/fruit and veg, several small supermarkets, butchers, banks, post office, chemist and gift shops. In nearby Tavira you will find the Grand Plaza shopping centre with a large supermarket, a wide variety of shops and eating places.
Tavira is a very historic town with lots of character and superb riverside restaurants,to have lunch at one of these is a holiday must do. In the other direction from Cabanas is Villa Real San Antonio which is the last town of the Eastern Algarve,here you can get a ferry across the river to Ayemonte in Spain and is well worth a visit but bear in mind time difference(they are 1 hour ahead of Portugal). We supply a full information pack when you book which includes a detailed local map + everything you need to know.

Booking notes
£50 / 75 euros deposit and the remaining balance is due 6 weeks prior to departure. We don't ask for a bond payment but expect any breakages to be replaced or paid for locally + if a pool pass card is lost a £25 0R 30 euro replacement fee is incurred. We can arrange a local taxi to meet you at the airport and you will be met at the apartment and given the keys. We also we provide a welcome pack in the rental price. Both apartments are totally non smoking.
