Whilst Saturday to Saturday has become something of the norm, the owner is happy to be as flexible as possible.

Kitchen: Fridge/freezer, cooker (oven and hob), washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, kettle, coffee machine, toaster.
Living Rooms: Lounge/diner with marble topped dining table, double sofa/bed, TV with satellite channels, CD/radio system, single sofa bed/footstool.
Other: Large secret cupboard for storing luggage, beach paraphernalia etc.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are included, as is maid service, once a week. Bedlinen and towels are changed once a week unless otherwise requested (and at additional cost). More frequent maid service is available on request again, at extra cost.

This ground floor Acacia apartment features a spacious living area, bathroom, bedroom and kitchen as well as covered and uncovered, gated terrace. With only four apartments in a block, the apartment offers privacy and plenty of space.

Accessibility
Ideal for those who don't want to climb stairs at the end of a long, lovely day at the beach, please note that the apartment has a small staircase (5-6 steps) from lounge to bathroom/bedroom. The car park and bus stop are a very short walk from the apartment. The resort seems to have already addressed a number of accessibility issues, although, for example, accessing the larger of the two pools at the Praca would currently be difficult for those who cannot climb stairs.

Outside
Two loungers, chairs, table, BBQ set out on low-walled, gated terrace which overlooks well tended gardens and trees.
Guests benefit from absolutely free use of the Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy's pool.

Coast/Beach
The beach is a short (10 minutes) walk away or a quick trip in the car. Golden sands, sunbeds, parasols, the usual beach activities (including a banana boat) and beach bars await. Very long swathe of sandy coastline, ideal for walking and/or jogging and great for children's sandcastles, paddling and sea shell collecting.

Golf
Host to many golf tournaments, Vale do Lobo has two excellent courses; The Royal and The Ocean. The apartment sits across the road from just one of the many manicured greens that run through the heart of the resort and is a short distance from the Parque do Golfe and its resident golf pros. People often talk about the 16th of the Royal, but the 14th of the Ocean is just as impressive!

Travel
Faro Airport is just 20 minutes drive from Vale do Lobo. Taxi transfers can be arranged although you can easily hire a car from either the airport or from Vale do Lobo reception.

Distances
Faro town is a 20-25 minutes drive, Almancil, with its many traditional restaurants and bars is nearby, Quinta do Lago, with its designer stores and upmarket restaurants is a mere 5 minutes drive away. Vilamoura and the fun of the Aquapark are short car/taxi journeys. 40/50 minutes in the car and you'll be in Spain. En route, you could stop off at Tavira, another popular Portuguese holiday destination. Children would love a day trip to Zoomarine, half an hour away, en route to Albufeira.

Further details
At the Praca, you'll find many bars and restaurants offering food from around the world, many with children's menus. There's a crazy golf course next to the Praca for pre or post dinner fun and games as well as free live music throughout the summer for everyone's enjoyment. Cashpoints are located outside main reception as well as at the Praca. A newsagent selling beach inflatables, sun screen, jewellery etc is situated at the Praca too. Hair and nail salons may be found at the Vale do Lobo beauty centre and there is a supermarket at the resort's main entrance, next door to the medical centre. There are many more shops and banks in nearby Almancil and Quinta do Lago.

Booking notes
To reserve the apartment, 50% of the total charge as deposit (non refundable) at the time of booking is required, with the remaining 50% to be paid no later than 4 weeks prior to your arrival date. Once deposit is received, the owner will write formally to you to confirm your booking and include a receipt for the deposit received. Once the outstanding balance has been paid, the owner will contact you with details about apartment keys etc. A refundable damage deposit of £200 per week required.
