Casa do Sol a one bedroom bungalow situated on a holiday resort with a shared pool. Horse back riding is available here to learn. The more experienced can gallop through the mountains. For children we have got small kind Shetland ponies - all taught by professionally trained riding teachers. Casa do Sol is a holiday resort fond of children! The holiday resort Casa do Sol is situated at the Western Algarve in a valley on the countryside just 15 minutes by car from Alvor, Portimao, Lagos on the coast with its wonderful long sandy beaches.

Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with double bed and mosquito net, beds for children can be added (kid's bed or bunk bed). |
| Bathrooms: | The shower cubicle is equipped with a heating system, permanent warm water, an extractor fan and a window. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is separated and completely equipped with gas cooker/oven, sink, pots/pans, dishes (cutlery, water cooker, radio, dining corner, terrace with table, chairs and grill. |
| Living Rooms: | Living room equipped with wardrobe, seating corner, double bed with mosquito-net, extra-bed (if required), TV, radio, mosquito-protection on all windows, heating system, large terrace. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
The house will be cleaned every 3 days. Change of towels twice a week. Change of bed linen weekly. |

Our guests live in lovely furnished and separated woodhouse-bungalows on the resort, which are surrounded by big fields with olive trees. There is plenty of privacy for our guests, as there are only 2 bungalows, 150m away from the main house.

Outside
On the resort you find a small swimming pool with complete filter system, there is also a parasol, a table and chairs. We are looking after the best water quality of the pool which has the lowest possible value of chlorine and fresh water addition every fortnight with the pure water of the Monchique Mountains. That is why it is also suitable for persons suffering from an allergy and ideal for children.
Coast/Beach
The holiday resort Casa do Sol is situated at the Western Algarve in a valley on the countryside just 15 minutes by car from Alvor, Portimao, Lagos on the coast with its wonderful long sandy beaches.
The Algarve offers many activities, long wide sandy beaches with beach bars for relaxing days on the beach.
Special interest holidays
Our guests can learn horse back riding on our holiday resort. Riding lesson 15 euros. Ride in the hinterland 25 euros.
Travel
Besides adventure swimming-pools, fun parks with dolphins and aquarium-centre with sharks, there are many cultural offers. You may go on a day trip through the Monchique Mountains, walking through deep forests ans typical small villages, or you can do a sightseeing-tour to the historical working place of Henry the Conqueror.
Distances
At night you can go to Alvor or Praia da Rocha, where you find lots of dancing bars, karaoke bars, restaurants with live music or you enjoy some Roulette. As you can see, there is fun and relaxation for our guests!
Further details
You can reach the resort in 15 mins by car or 25 mins by bike. Two very good restaurants can be reached in 15 mins by bike. Pretty old towns along the coast invite you to a shopping tour in the small shops selling clothes, souvenirs and gifts and you find a lot of different restaurants.
