Completed summer 2007, in quite cul-d-sac, situated in the Nature Reserve of Ria Fromosa. Fantastic pool area, with views to pine trees. Not overlooked by other villas. The internationally reowned resorts of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago are close neighbours; their 5 star golf courses are just one 'shot' away. Our villa is minutes walk from the miles of unspoilt sandy beaches at Ancao. Fabulous local restaurants, shops and bars are all a short journey away.

Accessibility
There are two twin bedrooms on the ground floor, which are ideal for wheelchair users. However there is one step up into the property from the pavement outside.

Private pool 36ft x 18ft (heaing is additional cost). Delightful pool area, ideal for relaxing and dining alfresco. Brick built BBQ with large covered and uncovered terrace areas. Dining table and chairs to seat 8. Outdoor shower. Small well kept garden. Large first floor sun terrace all with views accross the pine trees.
Coast/Beach
1km from nearest beach. Large selection of other beaches nearby, many with facilities and good restaurants.
Golf
With over 300 days of sunshine a year, the weather in the Algarve makes golfing a delight. Varandas do Lago is situated in the heart of the golf courses. Internationally famous for their truly magnificent standards. The Algarve has dozens of quality courses with a number of these championship standard. We are able to put you in contact with a local company who can offer special rates and even pre-book tee times. The Royal Course at Vale do Lobo was designed by Sir Henry Cotton and is one of the most photographed in the world.
Special interest holidays
The largest tennis facility in Portugal is only a 5 minute drive away. With 10 all-weather courts, and 4 synthetic courts. The Tennis Academy attracts several national and international tennis fixtures throughout the year.
Travel
Faro airport is a 20 minute drive from the villa. Taxis are plentiful and reasonably priced.
Distances
7km south of Almancil, 15km from Faro. The Algarve has a lot to offer, some nice coastal towns, many with marinas, inland has beautiful historical towns such as Silves and Monchique. Faro and Loule are both nice local towns to visit. Seville about 2 hours away, Lisbon about 2.5 hours away, 2 great cities for day trips. Other closer parts of Spain such as Lepe and Huelva worth visiting and have nice beaches.
