Situated at the top of Monte Carvoeiro, we like to think of Casa Moura as a home from home combining a traditional style villa with all modern requirements, Close to the small bustling town of Carvoerio and beaches there is something for everyone. For quieter nights good food and entertainment can be found at Monte Carvoerio. An extremely private central courtyard with BBQ means evenings at home can be as relaxed or fun as you wish. Accommodation comprises of a fully equipped modern kitchen, large living and dining room, bar area, five large comfortable bedrooms (bedroom 4 is accessed via bedroom making it an ideal family room) and four bathrooms, this property is ideal for large families, two families sharing or groups of friends. As a large family ourselves we appreciate the difficulties of travelling with children and our price is all inclusive of linen air con and welcome pack. At no extra charge we provide many other extras for your stay including guest washing machine.

Notes on prices
All prices are in UK pounds. Refundable £150 breakages deposit required on full payment. 25% deposit on booking. Out of peak season we are happy to discuss special rates for longer term rentals or short breaks dependent on availability. Please contact us by e-mail with any questions about pricing or accommodation.
Changeover day
Preferred change over day is Saturday in season. Please enquire if you require another day as there is some room for flexibilty. Arrival from 2.30 and departure by 10.30 to allow for full servicing of the villa. By arrangement we can store luggage.

Notes on accommodation
We have tried to anticipate your needs as fully as possible. Air conditioning and heating (should you need it) throughout the property make it a suitable rental for any season. This is our home abroad and we think it should be the same for our guests. A free welcome pack is provided for your arrival with tea, coffee, milk, wine, water and a basic lunch. Although conveniently close to town, you will find that the villa is peaceful. For your comfort and that of other guests we ask that you do not smoke inside of the property . We are happy to supply the following items for a small addition to the breakages deposit, Booster seats, lightweight buggy, microwave steriliser, cots, highchairs, baby walker, cool bag, ice packs beach umbrellas and towels.There is also a half set of golf clubs and internet access available as well as a PS2 and spare television. The villa is fully fenced and there are gates to the pool and roof terrace making it extremely safe for children.
Accessibility
Casa Moura is all on one level with the exception of 1 bedroom which has a few steps into it and the roof terrace; it has very few internal steps and has full access around the property to all areas. Although not specifically designed to be wheelchair accessible it should be suitable for people with mobility problems.
Outside
Private Gated Pool area with poolside shower. Diamond shaped pool with steps and shallow end approx 7x4m. Sun loungers, poolside tables, chairs and umbrellas provided. Extremely safe for children. Inner Courtyard includes outside Dining with a table for 10 people and BBQ with gated access to roof terrace which has a tiled seating area to have a sunset drink looking out to the sea. Parking for up to 4 cars. Sun Terrace to front of property and significant terraced and lawn areas with hedges shrubs and trees. Large washing line to front of property.
Coast/Beach
Carvoerio and Parasio Beaches are closest at 5 and 10min walk. Other beaches include Centienes, Benagil, Ferraguda, Praia Grande, Marinha.Although on the Algarve you can't travel far without finding a beach.. For the more adventurous there are many little coves and beaches that can be found along the coast. For a fee the fishermen at Carvoerio beach are willing to take you to some of the more inaccessible coves. Further details of beaches in Villa Manual.
Golf
For golfers the Algarve has some of the best courses in the world and we are lucky to have many close by - should you wish to play then we can arrange golf for you - for guests who are less serious about their golf we supply a half set of clubs for your use. Pestana Golf - 18 hole Pinta and Gramancho Courses 5 mins drive. Vale do Milho - 9 hole course 10 mins drive. Vilamoura courses 30 mins drive.
Travel
Faro Airport 45 min drive. Lisbon Airport 2½ hours drive. Saville Airport (spain) 2½ hours drive. Car Hire recommended but not essential. Excellent Taxi service (town square Carvoeiro).

Further details
Intermarche and Pao Acudor are the local supermarkets where a wide variety of English and local foods can be found. The Monchique Mountains are a short distance as is the medieval town of Silves. Fishing trips are available from Porti mao. Carvoeiro is ideally situated to reach all areas of the Algarve, with markets and festivals all year round, live entertainment in the town most nights in high season, fireworks at the end of August you don't have to go far for a good time. However Lagos, Tavira, Lagoa and many other towns are worth visiting. Zoomarine is great for the children and you can book to swim with dolphins with 2 waterparks within easy reach and horse riding, tennis cliff walking, and scuba diving available even the most energetic will find something to do.
All bedding is supplied for your stay including cot bedding. Each of the master rooms have a small table and chairs so that a morning coffee can be had in peace and quiet. Alarm clocks hair, dryers, reading lamps and ample storage with coat hangers are also supplied. Air conditioning is available as well as fans in each room. Travel cots and high chairs are supplied for parties travelling with small children free of charge and are clean, replaced regularly and meet EEC regulations
Booking notes
All enquiries will be held for 1 week. 25% deposit required on return of booking confirmation, full balance due 8 weeks prior to departure (except in last minute bookings). Refundable breakages deposit £150 due at time of balance payment. If you wish to make use of our additional items we only ask that another £50 is added to the breakages that will be refunded on your return.

Hello, Thank you for considering our property. We are Nicola and Peter Baker and our villa is Casa Moura. Having had many holidays in Carvoeiro and having stayed at villas ourselves with children we decided to take the plunge and buy one. We have a large family and like to holiday with them and friends, so we looked for a property that could accommodate our needs and also allowed two family groups to holiday together with enough space not to drive each other mad. From our experience we felt that we would like to provide a home from home for our clients, and we have tried very hard to make Casa as comfortable and well equipped as possible. We provide everything you could need for your stay from a welcome pack to beach umbrellas all within one price. We hope you'll come and stay.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought Casa Moura not only because we love the area but because it is ideally located not only within Carvoeiro but the Algarve itself. Situated at Monte Carvoeiro it is a very short stroll to the beach and town center but far enough that you are rarely disturbed by noise.
